Brock Lesnar has been absent from WWE TV since his match against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023. Rumors began circulating about his potential return, especially after reports linked him to Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit, which caused WWE to remove him from creative plans. However, despite his absence, Lesnar was mentioned on last week’s episode of RAW, sparking further speculation about his comeback and now we have some clarification regarding him being referenced on television.
If you did not know, Brock Lesnar was referenced during the October 14th episode of Monday Night RAW. This happened twice, as both Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes referenced beating a ”Beast,” which was Brock Lesnar. These references led to The Beast Incarnate trending on social media and, made fans wonder if he would return to WWE again.
As reported earlier, Fightful Select noted that according to sources within the company. there are currently no plans for Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE. On October 15, rumors suggested that WWE was in talks with Lesnar about a potential comeback, but high-level insiders have since denied this. They confirmed that there are no creative plans for him at the moment.
PWInsider reports that there have been no recent discussions between WWE and Brock Lesnar. According to their sources, Lesnar is not currently being considered for any storylines, and any mentions of him on commentary are simply to enhance ongoing storylines.
”There are zero discussions between WWE and Brock Lesnar currently. He remains off the board and any mentions of him on commentary are just to accentuate the current stories, nothing more.”
Dave Meltzer previously reported that legal hurdles have prevented Brock Lesnar from returning to WWE television. Therefore, it appears that fans should temper their expectations when it comes to The Beast Incarnate’s return, as it appears unlikely he will be returning to WWE anytime soon, if at all.
