Pro Wrestling World Reacts to Samantha Irvin’s WWE Exit

Samantha Irvin spent most of her time in WWE as part of NXT before being promoted to the main roster. During this time, she has refined her skills, especially with her unique flair as an announcer. However, she has just announced that she will be leaving WWE and now the pro wrestling world has reacted to the same.

Samantha Irvin announced her departure from WWE, where she had been a popular ring announcer, in a heartfelt message on social media. In her post, she expressed gratitude to the WWE Universe and confirmed that her time as the Monday Night Raw ring announcer had come to an end. While leaving WWE, she emphasized that this isn’t the end of her artistic journey and hinted at more to come in her career.

Irvin thanked WWE fans for their acceptance and extended special appreciation to the women’s locker room, calling them “the most incredible group of people on Earth.” She also gave shoutouts to the crew, cameramen, and WWE Superstars, acknowledging their dedication and the risks they take to entertain fans. Irvin praised their hard work and expressed her pride in being part of such a unique entertainment world.

On top of that, she thanked several key figures in WWE for supporting her growth and creativity, including Paul Heyman, Michael Hayes, Michael Cole, Road Dogg, Scott Armstrong, and Triple H. Irvin also recognized Mark Henry, who played a major role in giving her a big break.

Naturally, this came as a shock to many professional wrestlers all over the world and that obviously includes WWE. RAW General Manager Adam Pearce took to Twitter and thanked Samantha Irvin for her passion and dedication.

Chelsea Green also shared her shock at the departure, as she made it clear she wanted Irvin to give her a special introduction at WrestleMania, but that will no longer happen. Even on Instagram, many pro wrestlers shared their shock and that included CJ Perry, who made it clear she would miss hearing Irvin on WWE television.

We will have to wait and see what the future holds for Samantha Irvin now that she will be leaving WWE for good. With her husband Ricochet being a major part of AEW programming, perhaps she will simply join him there.
