AEW President Tony Khan is known for his deep passion for professional wrestling, something that’s evident to fans and critics alike. Over the past few years, Khan has gained significant attention, both for his enthusiasm and for his public statements. While Khan is quick to defend AEW and its fanbase from critics, he recently found himself called out by wrestling veteran Disco for hypocrisy.

AEW isn’t as popular as it used to be, with ticket sales and ratings going down slowly. Still, there are many dedicated fans who love the product. However, there are also a lot of people who dislike the company for various reasons, such as booking decisions and storylines.

Recently, Tony Khan got into a Twitter spat with controversial wrestling podcaster JD from NY, who defended a fan after the podcaster called the fan stupid. Khan noted that everyone has a right to express their opinions and shouldn’t be called stupid because of that.

”Why would you tell a fan that they’re stupid for just expressing their opinion. Everyone is allowed to have beliefs and opinions, it doesn’t make them stupid. #AEWCollision”

Interestingly enough, this led to a response from Disco Inferno on Twitter, who called out Tony Khan for his hypocrisy after Khan previously called the former WCW star an irrelevant parasite. Inferno had previously called for a reset for all AEW shows back in December last year and Tony Khan simply had enough of what Inferno had to say, thus leading to the criticism.

”This guy called me an “Irrelevant Parasite” when I gave my opinion on one of his shows”

Tony Khan also previously made it clear that he doesn’t worry about AEW constantly getting attacked anymore. Nonetheless, Disco Inferno felt it was the right time to call out Tony Khan for his actions and now it remains to be seen whether Khan will respond to Inferno soon enough.
