Jey Uso made his family and the WWE Universe very proud when he finally pulled down his first singles title after nearly 15 years with the company. He is a fighting champion, and he put it all on the line during the October 21 WWE RAW.
The WWE Intercontinental Championship was on the line as Jey Uso defended his title against Bron Breakker. Of course, Breakker wanted the title back. With all of the drama going on with Jey Uso and The Bloodline, the result of this match was up in the air.
These two capped off this week’s episode of RAW, and Lilian Garcia gave the match a big fight feel with her opening announcements. They wrestled through a commercial break, and then the Bloodline showed up at ringside.
Solo Sikoa provided a distraction for Jey Uso, as he claimed that he was trying to help him win the match. This gave Bron Breakker a chance to grab Uce and take control for a moment. That being said, “Main Event” Jey Uso fought Breakker off and he also laid in some Superkicks on Loa and Tama.
Solo Sikoa jumped the barricade and he said that he was trying to help Jey. They argued at ringside, and then Bron Breakker ran around the ring for a super spear, but Jey moved and Bron hit Solo instead.
They continued on, and Bron Breakker lifted his knees on an Uso Splash. Then Jey avoided a spear to nail one of his own. Then Uce climbed up for an Uso Splash for a close near fall. Adam Pearce and other WWE officials ran down to chase off Tama and Loa as they continued in the ring.
Suddenly, Jacob Fatu landed a superkick on Jey Uso, and then he nailed a Samoan Drop on the announce table. They tossed Jey Uso back in the ring and then Bron Breakker nailed another spear for the win. Now Bron Breakker is IC Champion once again, and it’s thanks to The Bloodline.
