Val Venis wasted no time firing back after wrestling icon Jim Cornette unblocked him on Twitter, delivering a sharp and sarcastic response.

Cornette initially blocked Venis due to his controversial social media posts, which he described as “rightwing lunatic” behavior. However, after Cornette decided to unblock him, Venis responded in typical fashion, taking shots at Cornette while defending his own ideology.

“Thanks for the unblock, Jim! It’s comforting to know a fellow wrestling icon is concerned about my mental health,” Venis wrote. “Just a heads-up: I’m not a right-winger. Not even close. Just an anti-state, God-fearing Anarchist keeping the conversation lively, educational, and productive.”

Venis took aim at Cornette’s critical remarks, suggesting that his outspoken anti-state and religious views had triggered Cornette and his “statist ilk.” In typical Venis fashion, he injected humor into his response, referencing Cornette’s accusations of CTE and drug-related behavior.

“Who knew expressing anti-state, pro-God views would trigger such mental meltdowns by you and your statist ilk? 🤣 But hey, keep up the fight against us ‘lunatics’ with ‘CTE.’ It must be quite the workout!” Venis continued, doubling down on his confrontational tone.

In a bold move, Venis invited Cornette to a live-streamed debate, playfully framing it as a showdown between opposing ideologies. “I’d love to interview you for my live stream sometime if you are interested. Call it The Battle of The Pro Nanny State, Anti-Freedom, Anti-God Statist vs. The Anti-State, Pro-Freedom, God-Fearing Anarchist. Let me know. You might learn something.”

Venis’s response perfectly encapsulates his signature style—mixing sarcasm, humor, and unfiltered opinions—while also positioning himself as someone open to public discourse, even with those who disagree with him.
