Jim Cornette, a seasoned veteran in professional wrestling known for his provocative opinions, has stirred controversy with his comments about the industry. Recently, he blasted The Undertaker and Kane for endorsing Donald Trump as Cornette detests Trump.
With about two weeks remaining until the election, Donald Trump appeared in an endorsement video alongside WWE Hall of Famers Kane and The Undertaker. In a preview of Trump’s appearance on The Undertaker’s podcast, both Kane and The Undertaker voiced their support for Trump, while also addressing Dave Bautista’s criticism of him.
The Undertaker, using a promo style reminiscent of Hulk Hogan’s classic speeches, urged voters to choose wisely. He presented the decision as a choice between supporting Trump, Kane, and himself, or siding with Kamala Harris, Dave Bautista, and Tim Walz. He emphasized that the future of the country depended on this important choice.
Jim Cornette took to Twitter and criticized The Undertaker and Kane for endorsing Donald Trump, labeling them as “another former great wrestler on the list of alien pod people duped by the world’s most repugnant con man.” He expressed disappointment in The Undertaker and Kane, stating that they had maintained admiration for so long, only to tarnish their reputations in the end. Cornette conveyed his shame for their actions, suggesting they were contributing to a larger issue affecting the country.
”Another former great wrestler on the list of alien pod people duped by the world’s most repugnant con man. Mark & Glen, you made it this long with everyone admiring you, then in the end you ruin your reputations AND try to destroy the country along with them. I’m ashamed FOR you.”
Nevertheless, the U.S. Presidential Elections are scheduled for November 5th, so we’ll have to wait and see who emerges victorious when the results are finalized, as Cornette made his feelings clear.
