Jade Cargill has definitely become one of the fastest-rising stars in WWE today, and it’s not hard to see why. With that said, it appears that Jade Cargill has revealed a special reason for wanting to compete at next year’s Royal Rumble event.
Typically, WWE Superstars aim to enter the Royal Rumble for a chance to headline WrestleMania and compete for a world title, but for Jade Cargill, her reason goes deeper. For her, it’s a milestone—a chance to reflect on her first year in WWE.
Cargill made her in-ring debut at the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble after signing with WWE in September. She was the third-to-last woman eliminated, with Liv Morgan, the current Women’s World Champion, being the one to take her out.
While speaking during a recent interview with WrestleZone, Jade Cargill talked about her first year in WWE, calling it a time of learning. Looking ahead to next year, she views the Royal Rumble as a way to assess her growth and see how far she’s progressed.
“No, nothing really. It is just that I’m going out there and that’s where everybody [saw me debut]. That’s where my big debut happened,” Jade Cargill explained. “So, [it’s] just to see what I’ve learned and what I’ve developed in a year here at WWE. That’s it.”
Cargill has seen a lot of success in WWE so far as she is a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Bianca Belair, after recently recapturing the titles at Bash in Berlin. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether Cargill will end up winning next year’s Royal Rumble and punch her ticket to WrestleMania 41.
