CM Punk has been gaining significant attention in WWE, establishing himself as one of the company’s biggest stars. Known for his outspoken nature, he recently made a powerful call to action, urging people to stop genocide.
During the October 7th episode of RAW, CM Punk made it clear he would be going on a hiatus and wasn’t sure when he would be back, leaving his return date uncertain. The 2024 WWE Crown Jewel event is set for Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and CM Punk will not be there for the event.
During his break from wrestling, Punk made an appearance as a color commentator at CFFC 137. While calling the action alongside John Morgan, Punk made a strong statement when asked about political matters. He expressed his wish for an end to genocide, a reflection of the ongoing global violence.
“I’m CM Punk and I wish we would stop genocide.”
Punk has always been vocal on such issues, particularly in support of the Palestinian people. He has publicly shown solidarity with his friend, UFC Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad, who is of Palestinian descent.
