Roman Reigns has been on a wild ride on top of WWE for years. The Bloodline Saga is still going, and the new twists in their road are unexpected. With The Rock’s recent return at Bad Blood 2024, you never know what will happen next. After Jey Uso’s surprise appearance during SmackDown this week, it was anyone’s guess what would happen next.
The Original Tribal Chief had a chance to appear during the October 18 WWE SmackDown. He also debuted an unreleased Travis Scott song during the show. It was very clear after his appearance during the October 11 episode that he is very tired of waiting for a chance to reclaim what is his.
Later on, Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso had another backstage segment. Jimmy suggested that Paul Heyman would say that he needs to talk to Jey Uso. Roman then promised that he will fix things tonight. Jimmy asked Roman how he is going to do that. “I’m going to acknowledge Solo,” Roman responded.
During the closing segment of SmackDown, Roman Reigns came out by himself. He then told the crowd in Colombia, South Carolina to acknowledge him “for the last time.” Then Solo Sikoa walked out without the Bloodline behind him.
Roman Reigns brought up that Solo said the Bloodline is stronger now, but he doesn’t see it. Reigns then asked Solo to tell him what to do to fix this. Then Solo laughed and he told him to acknowledge him. Then Roman did just that.
“I acknowledge you, does that make you feel better?” Roman asked. Then Solo said that’s not good enough, he wanted Reigns to acknowledge him as his Tribal Chief. Fans chanted, “no” after that. Solo said Roman needed to do it, “or else.” Then Reigns fired back, “or else, what?!”
Solo started laughing and said that Roman Reigns never changed, and neither did he. That is when the Bloodline walked out with a limp Jimmy Uso in their clutches after a backstage attack.
Roman Reigns took out Solo after that and then he laid down signature Superman Punches all around. Reigns picked up the Ulla Falla after that, and just as he was about to put it on, Solo nailed him with a low blow and took it.
The Bloodline destroyed Roman Reigns after that, as nobody came out to save him. Jimmy Uso was out and Jey Uso had already left the building. Solo delivered a Samoan Spike to Roman as he capped off the beatdown. Fans booed this in a big way as Solo nailed another spike on the Original Tribal Chief.
This week’s WWE SmackDown ended with huge “Solo sucks” chants from the crowd as he declared that this is his ring now.
