The Motor City Machine Guns made headlines after leaving TNA earlier this year and they are set to make their WWE debut on SmackDown tonight. Ahead of their debut, it appears they are already in the area for the show.

WWE teased the debut of the Motor City Machine Guns during the October 4 episode of SmackDown when a mysterious video vignette aired, and they would eventually announce the tag team’s debut for the October 18th edition of Friday Night SmackDown. They are set to face off against Los Garzas, who will undoubtedly be solid opponents for their debut.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, a long-time reader working at Charlotte Airport reported spotting Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin arriving last night. This places them just a few hours away from Columbia, South Carolina, where tonight’s SmackDown will take place. Therefore, the duo are already in the area ahead of their highly anticipated SmackDown debut.

We have also reported that The Motor City Machine Guns are set to undergo a significant change in presentation upon their WWE debut. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see whether they will be able to make a big impact during SmackDown this week, as the hype behind their debut is immeasurable right now.
