Mercedes Mone Teams Up with Snoop Dogg’s Son at LA Tech Week

Mercedes Mone, the self-proclaimed “CEO” of All Elite Wrestling and reigning AEW TBS Women’s Champion, is expanding her influence beyond the wrestling ring. In addition to competing on AEW Dynamite, Mone traveled to Los Angeles to participate in LA Tech Week, making her presence felt in the tech and gaming space.

Mone joined a panel titled “The New Superstars In The Future of Media” alongside industry leaders, including Notef from NEIGHBOR, Angela Dalton of Signum Growth Dot Play, and Cordell Broadus, son of Snoop Dogg. Known for creating Fortnite content, Notef’s presence brought a gaming edge to the discussion, although Mone’s involvement with Fortnite remains indirect. While several of her wrestling peers—like Becky Lynch, John Cena, and The Rock—have been featured as Fortnite skins, Mone has yet to make an official appearance in the popular game.

Interestingly, the panel may have had a family connection, as Mone is a cousin of Snoop Dogg, whose son also participated in the event. This crossover between wrestling, media, and gaming highlights Mone’s ability to stay ahead of evolving trends in entertainment.

Back in the ring, Mone brought her signature intensity to AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night, successfully defending her AEW TBS Championship against Queen Aminata. Mone dominated the match and secured the victory by forcing Aminata to tap out to her devastating submission move, The Statement Maker—a performance fitting for someone embracing both the tech and wrestling worlds.
