Lexis King is bringing the heat to Deep South Wrestling! The rising star made waves with a fiery video posted on the promotion’s Instagram, where he addressed recent remarks made by Skrilla The Great. In the video, King did not hold back, slamming Skrilla’s comments and making a bold statement about his path in wrestling.
King made it clear that he hasn’t ridden the coattails of his family legacy. “My mother’s dead, my fathers dead” King stated, dismissing any suggestion that his family name paved his way. He then announced that he will face Skrilla at Deep South Wrestling’s October Rust 2 event on Saturday, October 26. The show will take place at New Realm Brewing in Atlanta, Georgia, promising an intense confrontation between the two.
This appearance marks King’s third time wrestling outside of WWE since signing with the company in 2023. Earlier this year, King stepped into the ring for Reality of Wrestling, a promotion owned by wrestling legend Booker T, further expanding his experience outside WWE.
For those unfamiliar, Deep South Wrestling holds a rich history in the industry, once serving as a developmental territory for WWE between 2005 and 2007. Now owned by former WWE referee Nick Patrick, the promotion continues to feature compelling matchups, with King vs. Skrilla shaping up to be a must-see showdown.
