Jesse “The Body” Ventura is officially set to make a return to WWE television, with plans for him to be part of Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14th.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, while Ventura’s exact role is still being determined, the WWE Hall of Famer will be involved in some capacity, adding a nostalgic touch to the iconic event.

Meltzer explained, “The role is to be determined. Right now the idea is for him not to announce the entire show, perhaps an interview segment or announcing a match, but the idea now is simply for him to be part of the show for nostalgia reasons.”

Ventura, who recently confirmed signing a WWE Legends deal, has been working toward finalizing this agreement for months. With his return now confirmed, fans are already buzzing about how WWE might utilize him. Having Ventura involved at Saturday Night’s Main Event makes sense given his long association with the event during his time as a color commentator.

Though his Legends deal opens the door to many possibilities, WWE seems to be leaning toward a cameo-style appearance rather than a full-time role at the event. Whether Ventura will conduct an interview segment, call a match, or make a brief appearance remains to be seen, but his presence is expected to add to the nostalgia factor of the evening.

As WWE continues reviving classic elements like Saturday Night’s Main Event, Ventura’s appearance will undoubtedly capture the attention of longtime fans and bring back memories from his years with the promotion.
