The Rock made his shocking return at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event and obviously got fans talking in a big way about what he would do next. While fans continue to speculate about his WWE future, The Great One has now teased lining up a major Hollywood project.

The Rock recently concluded filming for The Smashing Machine, which is set to be one of his most important films in a very long time. However, being such a big star in Hollywood, it was clear he had more projects in the pipeline.

The Rock took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo featuring himself alongside director JJ Abrams, known for his work on the recent Star Wars films, and writer Zak Penn, who has contributed to several Marvel-based films such as X-Men 2, X-Men: The Last Stand, The Incredible Hulk, and The Avengers.

In the post, The Final Boss described how the group had spent years planning their meeting. They enjoyed food, drinks, and conversations about life, love, and their shared passion for movies and storytelling. They celebrated the creative collaboration, hinting at an exciting project ahead. Also included in the photo was Hiram Garcia, the President of Seven Bucks Productions and a producer as it was clear he was lining up a huge Hollywood project.

“Years in the making – we finally broke bread, we drank, we laughed, got a lil’ drunk (maybe that was just me 🙋🏽‍♂️) we talked life stuff, love stuff, dude stuff and took our time chopping up our passion for movies and storytelling. Then we all raised a glass and toasted to…. yup, this one is gonna be fun. JJ & DJ 🥃🍿 from the mind of Zak Penn. “…tonight, it comes to life…”

Regarding The Rock’s current plans for WrestleMania 41, it is likely he will face off against Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes in a triple threat match and all three parties are on board with the idea. Nonetheless, we’ll have to wait and see what project The Rock will announce as well, since it’s clear he is working on something huge.
