WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has had an illustrious career, with a standout rookie year that solidified his status as a wrestling legend. He had the opportunity to wrestle celebrities as well, and that includes Liam Payne and he paid tribute to Payne after his passing.

Liam Payne, a member of One Direction, tragically passed away on October 16 at the age of 31. Reports indicate that he fell from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room in Argentina.

Liam was not only a successful musician but also a wrestling enthusiast. In 2013, he participated in a promotional wrestling match with Kurt Angle to support the release of One Direction’s album Midnight Memories during their “1D Day” event.

Kurt Angle took to his Twitter account and shared his respects for Liam Payne, reflecting on their time together in the ring and expressing his sorrow over the loss, as he stated that
