Belief that Jade Cargill Was ‘Mentally More Comfortable’ in AEW

Before joining WWE, Jade Cargill was a dominant force in AEW as the TBS Champion, maintaining an impressive undefeated streak for a long period. However, some believe that Cargill was ‘mentally more comfortable’ in AEW.

Jade Cargill even stated that she couldn’t have gotten better start than in AEW and that it prepared her for WWE. Even then, Cargill previously made it clear during the Bash in Berlin media scrum that she was simply tired of being asked about her time in AEW.

As one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Cargill has been a dominant presence and showcased as a top talent in the company. However, Bully Ray pointed out a concern regarding Cargill during a recent episode of the Busted Open podcast. He believes that Cargill was “mentally” more at ease during her time in AEW.

Ray explained that the pressure in WWE might be affecting her performance, especially since she joined with high expectations. He added that during her matches, it seems clear she is thinking about her next move, which makes it noticeable.

“I thought about this the other night. Here’s my take on Jade: I think Jade was mentally more comfortable in AEW. There’s, I think, a lot more pressure on her in WWE – the pressure of, she came over, she came over with what is it called, high expectations. Yes, she’s doing well. She’s got everything you need to have to become a megastar there, but when she moves, yes, I see her thinking.”

Jade Cargill also recently stated that she felt like she had no direction in AEW. Nevertheless, the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion is more than happy working in WWE and adapting to the pressure of being a WWE Superstar and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
