CM Punk’s return at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event had a massive impact on WWE, significantly altering its direction. Since then, Punk has played a key role in WWE programming, particularly with his feud against Drew McIntyre. With Survivor Series on the horizon, WWE’s plans for him at the upcoming Premium Live Event have been revealed.
Durig the October 7th episode of RAW, CM Punk made it clear he would be going on a hiatus and wasn’t sure when he would be back, leaving his return date uncertain. The 2024 WWE Crown Jewel event is set for Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and CM Punk will not be there for the event.
The Survivor Series Premium Live Event is set to take place in Vancouver on November 30, and there’s a lot of excitement surrounding it. We previously reported that CM Punk will be part of the show, but fans are curious about what WWE has planned for him at this much-anticipated event.
While speaking during the WrestlePurists RAW review, Ibou reported that CM Punk is set to challenge GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event.

CM Punk vs. The Ring General would certainly make for an incredible program that would be fitting for Survivor Series. Therefore, it remains to be seen how the company will book their feud before their match, as fans are already incredibly excited for what’s in store for them.
