On the September 23 episode of Monday Night RAW, Jey Uso finally won the Intercontinental Championship but he’s never forgotten his Bloodline roots, especially when it comes to The Rock. That’s why it’s no surprise he paid homage to The Rock by using his iconic finisher during a WWE live event.

The Rock remains one of the most iconic professional wrestlers in the history of the industry and each and every single one of his moves is etched in the memory of fans all over the world. This includes his iconic finisher, The People’s Elbow and it’s not hard to see why.

WWE took to their Instagram and uploaded a video of Jey Uso during a live event in the United Kingdom, where he squared off against Bron Breakker. During the match, Jey Uso paid homage to The Rock by busting out The People’s Elbow, complete with The Rock’s signature hand gesture. He put his own twist to the move by adding a ‘yeet’ before hitting the elbow for good measure and that’s why WWE dubbed it the ‘Yeet Elbow.’

Jey Uso also recently made it clear he is open to other Bloodline family members joining WWE and some could join soon. Nonetheless, fans are clearly enjoying Jey Uso’s current run as the Intercontinental Champion and his homage to The Rock was well-received by fans.
