Last year saw the integration of WWE and UFC into the TKO umbrella, marking a significant shift in the landscape of sports entertainment. In light of WWE and UFC’s partnership, UFC fighter Tom Aspinall shared the ring with Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER at a recent WWE live event.

On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, three world champions were in the spotlight during WWE’s live event in Manchester, England. The event featured Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER, and a surprise appearance from UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall.

Aspinall, the UFC’s interim heavyweight champ following Jon “Bones” Jones, made his way into the ring during a segment involving Rhodes and GUNTHER. This appearance added excitement to the lead-up for the much-anticipated champion vs. champion match between Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER at WWE Crown Jewel 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Even UFC fighter Oban Elliott made an appearance at the Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event earlier this year. Nonetheless, fans always love seeing WWE and UFC stars appearing in a ring together and that’s all that matters.
