Brock Lesnar has been absent from WWE TV since his match against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023. Due to his alleged connection to Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit, there has been speculation that Lesnar might not return soon, and WWE even removed Lesnar from all Creative plans. However, he was referenced on this week’s episode of RAW, and now his current return status has been revealed.
If you weren’t aware, Brock Lesnar was referenced during the October 14th episode of Monday Night RAW. In a backstage segment, Seth Rollins attempted to persuade General Manager Adam Pearce to schedule a one-on-one match with Bronson Reed. During his pitch, Rollins referenced his past victory over a “beast,” referring to Brock Lesnar, whom he beat at WrestleMania 35 in 2019 to win the WWE Universal Championship.
Later in the show, Cody Rhodes confronted World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER ahead of their match at WWE Crown Jewel. Rhodes acknowledged that GUNTHER has been a “beast” since joining WWE but also mentioned that he has already conquered a “beast” in the past, again referencing Lesnar. These references led to The Beast Incarnate trending on social media and, made fans wonder if he would return to WWE again.
WrestleVotes shared an update on Lesnar’s status in WWE during a Live Q&A with Bill Apter on Backstage Pass. According to WrestleVotes, there’s a strong chance that Brock Lesnar will return to WWE. When asked if The Beast would be back, he responded with a simple “Yes.” WrestleVotes added that sources within WWE confirmed ongoing talks between Lesnar and the company.
“I’ll give you a short answer. Yes”.
Dave Meltzer previously reported that legal hurdles have prevented Brock Lesnar from returning to WWE television but that may no longer be an issue soon enough. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether The Beast Incarnate will end up making his comeback sooner rather than later.
