Tony D’Angelo’s NXT North American Championship Celebration Interrupted By Halloween Havoc Challenge

Tony D’Angelo surprised the NXT Universe when he battled Oba Femi during the October 8 NXT on The CW, and he won the North American Title in The Factory. That was a huge moment for him, and The Family celebrated in Saint Louis. The October 15 WWE NXT also included their own celebration.

This week’s episode of NXT kicked off with the introduction of a new set. Tony D’Angelo was also already in the ring as the new North American Champion. Despite the fact that he won last week, Tony D had nothing but good things to say about Oba Femi.

Tony D’Angelo gave Oba Femi his flowers for being a great champion. He had a glass of wine in the ring and raised it up for a toast to the former champion.

Oba Femi then came out to interrupt his speech. Femi made it clear that he will regain the NXT North American Title at Halloween Havoc. This was not a very long promo, as he left afterward.

Before he left, Oba Femi said, “One little thing, your family will not be by your side to help you.” Then Oba Femi spun the wheel and made a deal. It landed on a “Tables, Ladders, and Scares” match.

We will have to see how things pan out for Tony D’Angelo and Oba Femi at Halloween Havoc, but Femi is determined to get that championship back. It will also be a pretty wild match stipulation to see it go down.
