Pro Wrestling Illustrated has named Toni Storm as the top female wrestler in its Women’s 250 rankings for 2024, a prestigious accolade that recognizes her outstanding performance over the evaluation period.
Storm had a banner year, highlighted by her 281-day reign as AEW Women’s Champion, during which she successfully defended her title seven times. In addition to her in-ring success, Storm earned widespread praise for her innovative “Timeless” character, which resonated deeply with both fans and her peers.
The ranking is part of PWI’s annual Women’s 250, which evaluates female wrestlers based on criteria including in-ring achievements, influence on the sport, technical ability, quality of competition, and overall activity. The evaluation period for this year’s list spanned from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024.
Toni Storm was followed by Jordynne Grace in second place and Rhea Ripley, last year’s top-ranked wrestler, who finished third.
Toni Storm’s combination of in-ring dominance and her dynamic character work has firmly cemented her as a standout figure in women’s wrestling. As she continues to evolve in AEW, fans and analysts alike are eager to see what comes next for the “Timeless” Toni Storm.
