The WWE Universe is about to witness the highly anticipated debut of Motor City Machine Guns, set to take place on the October 18 episode of WWE SmackDown.

In their first WWE match, Shelley and Sabin will face Los Garzas, marking a major moment for the legendary duo as they make the leap from TNA Wrestling to WWE’s blue brand.

WWE first teased the debut of this iconic tag team during the October 4 episode of SmackDown when a mysterious video vignette aired, leaving fans speculating who might be arriving. Reports later confirmed that the vignette was for none other than the Motor City Machine Guns. Despite initial rumors from PW Insider suggesting the team would debut in NXT, it has been confirmed that Shelley and Sabin are bypassing NXT and heading straight to SmackDown.

Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, known for their success in TNA as one of the most decorated tag teams in wrestling, have been planned for WWE’s main roster for quite some time, according to sources within the company. Their arrival signals WWE’s continued focus on evolving its roster by bringing in new stars, many of whom don’t always have to start in NXT.

Fans can also expect appearances from Roman Reigns and Randy Orton, ensuring a packed night of action.
