Brock Lesnar has not appeared on WWE TV since his match against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023. Because of his ties to Vince McMahon’s traffickin lawsuit, fans have speculated that he wouldn’t return anytime soon. However, Lesnar has now started trending on social media after being mentioned several times on RAW this week.
Brock Lesnar was supposed to take part in the Royal Rumble event, but his plans changed due to legal issues connected to Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit. His absence from WWE broadcasts has also led to other setbacks, such as not being included in the WWE 2K24 video game roster and being removed from WWE Creative’s future plans. It’s been more than a year since fans saw The Beast on television, so they continue to wonder if he will ever return.
However, Brock Lesnar was referenced during the October 14th episode of Monday Night RAW. In a backstage segment, Seth Rollins tried to convince General Manager Adam Pearce to give him a one-on-one match with Bronson Reed. During his speech, Rollins mentioned beating a “beast” in the past, referring to Brock Lesnar, whom he defeated at WrestleMania 35 in 2019 to become WWE Universal Champion.
Later in the night, Cody Rhodes had a confrontation with World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER before their match at WWE Crown Jewel. Rhodes said GUNTHER has been a “beast” since joining WWE but then mentioned how he already conquered a ”beast” in the past, referencing Lesnar.
Although Lesnar was not mentioned by name, fans noticed the references to the former WWE Universal Champion. On Twitter, his name started trending as several posts discussed these hints and speculated about his potential return to the company.
Triple H had made it clear he is open to bringing back Brock Lesnar, but Dave Meltzer reported that legal hurdles are currently preventing Brock Lesnar from returning to WWE television. Regardless, it remains to be seen whether The Beast Incarnate will ever make his WWE comeback, as there seem to be some signs of that happening now.
