The announcement that Monday Night RAW is moving to Netflix has created major discussion within the pro wrestling community. It was reported that WWE and Netflix confirmed their huge deal to move Monday Night RAW to the streaming service, which will begin in January 2025. The reported deal, valued at over $5 billion for a duration of ten years.
PWInsider reports that WWE is preparing to exit Foxtel and Binge in Australia as it shifts all of its content to Netflix. This move will bring WWE programming to Netflix in the country on specific dates. SmackDown will debut on Netflix on January 4, 2025, RAW will follow on January 7 and NXT will make its transition on January 8, 2025.
Triple H has expressed confidence that fans will smoothly transition to Netflix without any issues. However, the real test will come as we wait to see how the WWE product evolves after the move to the streaming platform in January next year.
