The Rock made his shocking return at the very end of the Bad Blood Premium Live Event and completely turned the landscape of WWE upside down again. Naturally, fans are now wondering if The Great One will make an appearance for the debut episode of RAW on Netflix and now his status has been confirmed.
WWE and Netflix have confirmed a major deal to move Monday Night RAW to the streaming platform starting in January 2025. The groundbreaking agreement, reportedly valued at over $5 billion and set to last for ten years, was officially announced on January 23 and WWE is clearly pulling out all the stops to make sure the debut episode will be a great one.
While speaking on Fightful Select’s Q&A podcast, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about The Rock’s Status for the debut episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix in 2025. Sapp noted that WWE is hopeful they can get The Rock for the show.
“WWE is hopeful they can get The Rock.”
As far as The Rock’s plans for WrestleMania 41 are concerned, Dave Meltzer noted The Rock had not been confirmed for the show. He mentioned that if The Rock decides to participate, it will be entirely up to him. Confirmation could happen at any time, but organizers want clarity heading into the Royal Rumble to plan accordingly.
Nevertheless, we’ll have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for The Great One during the debut episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix in January next year, as that could set the stage for his eventual WrestleMania 41 plans as well.
