Cody Rhodes has joined the growing list of WWE superstars pushing for WrestleMania to come to the UK, following John Cena’s public call at Money in the Bank 2023. WWE has made significant strides in expanding its global footprint with international events in Australia, France, Scotland, Toronto, and Berlin over the past few years. Now, Rhodes is eyeing the UK as the next big market for WWE’s marquee event.

Speaking with James Dawson of BBC News Manchester, Rhodes expressed his hopes for WrestleMania to land in the UK soon, saying, “If I’m aiming, it would be cool to get it [in the UK] in the next five years. There’s some really big venues over here that could host a WrestleMania.”

Rhodes also emphasized the enthusiasm of American fans, noting their excitement for the idea of traveling overseas for a major event like WrestleMania: “I think American fans would jump at the chance to come to a WrestleMania [overseas], whether that be in Manchester or London, I think they’d go nuts for it.”

Rhodes praised John Cena, stating that when the legend himself publicly suggests such a move, it “almost wills itself into existence.” He added, “I’m very much looking forward to watching that situation unfold.”
