Chris Jericho Boasts ‘Terrifier 3’ Topping the US Box Office Charts

Chris Jericho is undeniably a multi-talented figure in the world of professional wrestling, with a career spanning decades. His versatility extends beyond the ring, with achievements in music as the frontman of his band Fozzy and now in film. Jericho is part of Terrifier 3, and he recently celebrated the movie’s success in a big way.

In 2022, the renowned ‘Lionheart’ surprised movie enthusiasts globally with his appearance in a post-credits scene in ‘Terrifier 2’. Jericho had previously confirmed his return for the third installment of the franchise, ‘Terrifier 3’, slated for a theatrical release in October this year.

The movie released last week and it instantly became a huge hit with fans and critics alike. In fact, Chris Jericho took to his Instagram and uploaded several reviews of the movie, as he celebrated the success of Terrifier 3, which topped the U.S. box office over the weekend with $18.3 million in earnings.

Excited to be part of the number one movie in America, he described it as another dream come true. Jericho thanked director Damien Leone and producer PJ Falcone for casting him as Burke in not just one, but two installments of the franchise, showing just how rare that is for characters in their universe.

Jericho also congratulated the cast and crew, singling out the talented David Howard Thornton and the hilariously creepy Samantha Scaffidi for their roles and for “viciously murdering” him on-screen. Jericho teased that rumors of Burke having a twin brother remain unconfirmed. He encouraged fans to run to theaters and see the “bat**** crazy masterpiece,” hoping to keep it at number one for two weeks.

This is certainly big news for Chris Jericho as it means that a fourth movie could definitely happen in the future and he may get involved in it as well. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see whether the movie will keep its momentum going into the second week.
