WWE is always planning ahead for their Premium Live Events, which is a key factor in their current success. The company is already booking for their next event in Saudi Arabia, which is Crown Jewel and now the timeline for when WWE’s deal with Saudi Arabia will end has been revealed.
The 2024 WWE Crown Jewel is scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and the show will feature a couple of champion vs. champion matches, with Triple H having introduced a new championship belt, featuring 50 karats of diamonds, emphasizing its grand design.
With about a month to go before the event, Sean Ross Sapp revealed an important update during his Fightful Weekly Q&A session. WWE’s current deal with Saudi Arabia is set to last until 2027, with the company committed to holding two shows per year in the country. This agreement is also reportedly a very lucrative deal for WWE, bringing in significant revenue over the years.
GUNTHER vs. Cody Rhodes and Nia Jax vs. Liv Morgan are set to take place at Crown Jewel and plans for the matches will not change. Nonetheless, we’ll have to wait and see if WWE and Saudi Arabia will end up renewing their deal once it ends in 2027.
