It looks like a classic tag team might be ready for a return to the ring after a recent exchange online.

WWE Hall of Famers D-Von and Bubba Ray Dudley, known as the Dudley Boyz, have been put on notice after an NXT duo called them out for a potential dream match.

In a video shared by The CW Sports, several NXT stars were asked to name their dream opponents. Tank Ledger didn’t hesitate when he pitched that he and fellow ‘Blue Collar Brawler’ Hank Walker should face off against none other than the Dudley Boyz.

Bully Ray caught wind of this and took to Twitter to respond in classic Dudley fashion. He tweeted, “Hey @TestifyDVon … sounds like Hank and Tank need a 3D through a table.”

Hank Walker wasn’t backing down, replying with a simple but bold “HONK. HONK.”

Fans are now buzzing over the possibility of seeing the legendary Dudley Boyz step back into the squared circle to take on the up-and-coming NXT stars. With legendary visits already happening in NXT recently from the likes of CM Punk and Randy Orton, the Dudleys could be the next big surprise.
