MJF Set to Resume Filming for ”Happy Gilmore 2” Following AEW WrestleDream

MJF had not been seen on AEW television since the All Out pay-per-view last month because he has been busy filming a movie, specifically “Happy Gilmore 2.” He made his return at AEW WrestleDream this week, but it looks like he will be filming more scenes for the movie soon.

As reported earlier, MJF is portraying one of Happy Gilmore’s sons in the upcoming film. He will share the screen with well-known actors such as Adam Sandler, Julie Bowen, and Christopher McDonald. This role marks an important milestone in MJF’s acting journey, especially after his participation in the wrestling film “The Iron Claw” and with other projects like “The Floaters” and “Stranglehold” on the horizon. The movie is set to stream on Netflix, promising fans a delightful blend of classic Sandler comedy and MJF’s distinctive charisma.

That’s why fans were surprised when MJF made his return at AEW WrestleDream, where he came out and beat up Daniel Garcia. Before he tried to use his Dynamite Diamond Ring on Garcia, Adam Cole also made his return, and The Salt of the Earth immediately left the ring in fear.

According to a report by Fightful Select, MJF was informing people backstage at AEW WrestleDream 2024 that he would be heading back to film more scenes for ”Happy Gilmore 2” after the event.

We have also shown the first glimpse of MJF in ”Happy Gilmore 2,” where he was seen walking alongside Adam Sandler. Nonetheless, we’ll have to see if MJF will end up taking another break in order to film more scenes for the movie or whether he will simply juggle both of his duties at the same time.
