Many fans think there are a lot of people in wrestling who deserve to be in the WWE Hall of Fame, and Jim Cornette is one of them. In fact, he has received support for his induction into the Hall of Fame, showing that his contributions to the wrestling world are recognized.
Jim Cornette is undoubtedly one of the most controversial names in professional wrestling right now thanks to his incendiary remarks. Cornette’s history with WWE spans from 1993 to the early 2000s. He joined as an on-screen manager, working with top stars like Yokozuna, Vader, and The British Bulldog, while also contributing to the creative team. Cornette brought his experience from running Smoky Mountain Wrestling and his traditional wrestling style to WWE. However, he often clashed with WWE’s evolving, more entertainment-driven approach, leading to creative differences with Vince McMahon.
Cornette eventually moved to WWE’s developmental system, OVW, where he helped develop future stars like John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and Randy Orton. His volatile personality and disagreements with WWE management, though, led to his departure in the mid-2000s.
While speaking on the latest episode of Something To Wrestle With, Bruce Prichard talked about the possibility of Jim Cornette being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He expressed his admiration for Cornette and stated that he believes he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.
“I love Jim. I think Jim’s very deserving of being in the Hall of Fame, and I hope one day that he is.”
We will have to wait and see whether Jim Cornette will eventually get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame somewhere down the line, as anything is truly possible in the world of professional wrestling and there is definitely a section of fans who want him to receive the honor.
