Layla, who was with WWE from 2006 to 2015 and played a key role in several storylines, has been away from the pro wrestling scene for some time. However, it appears that she is set to make an appearance at an upcoming wrestling event soon.
Layla previously revealed why she left WWE, as there was simply nothing more she could have done in the company, and she was completely satisfied with her run with WWE.
Layla recently took to Twitter and announced that she will be returning to a pro wrestling event for the first time since 2021, making her appearance at WrestleCade on November 30th at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, NC. In her announcement, Layla expressed excitement about reconnecting with fans, inviting them to come to say hello and catch up with her. She shared her eagerness to see everyone soon.
”Hi all! It has been a while since I’ve been able to connect with you all, but I am excited to announce that I will be making some appearances soon. I hope you all can come say hi and catch up with me. I’m looking forward to seeing each and every one of you! 💋”
Layla also recently admitted that she would love to return to WWE during the Royal Rumble as she believes revisiting her past in WWE would be worthwhile, especially before she feels too old to participate. Nevertheless, we’ll have to see how her appearance at WrestleCade will turn out first before fans can think about a WWE Return.
