WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson is a true legend in professional wrestling and he made headlines after returning with Cody Rhodes backstage at SummerSlam earlier this year. He also made an appearance after Bad Blood and has now confirmed his contractual status with WWE.
At the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, Cathy Kelley interviewed the night’s three hosts: Naomi, along with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. The camera also gave fans a look into the VIP suite, where several notable wrestling figures were seen. Former AEW stars Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson were spotted mingling with other wrestling personalities like Mickie James, X-Pac, DDP, and Jey Uso.
Naturally, Anderson’s appearance made fans wonder if he ended up signing a Legends deal with WWE. In a recent episode of his ARN Podcast, Arn Anderson shared that he hasn’t had any direct discussions with WWE regarding a Legends deal. He mentioned that he’s fine with making occasional appearances and wouldn’t be upset if the company only reaches out for that. Anderson remains open to possibilities and is content with the current arrangement, though he acknowledges that things could change in the future.
“No, but that’s okay. I haven’t had that one-on-one conversation about that in particular. It’s alright just for me popping in from time to time, if that’s what they have for me. I wouldn’t be disappointed if that’s what it was. But you never know, we’ll see.”
Arn Anderson even had a very wholesome backstage interaction with CM Punk following his Bad Blood appearance, where Punk asked Anderson and other legends for feedback regarding his Hell in a Cell match. Nevertheless, only time will tell whether Anderson will sign a Legends deal with WWE somewhere down the line.
