AEW WrestleDream Zero Hour Pre-Show (10/12/2024):

The AEW WrestleDream Zero Hour Pre-Show opens up with Renee Paquette welcoming us. Paquette then introduces Jeff Jarrett and RJ City as her co-hosts and the panel runs down the card for tonight’s PPV.

Chuck Taylor then joins the panel and talk about Mark Briscoe vs. Chris Jericho, saying Jericho will win the ROH World Title. Taylor also talks about the International Championship 3-Way Match and how it’s wild to see Ricochet in AEW after he trained him.

Nyla Rose then joins the panel and discusses Jack Perry vs. Katsuyori Shibata, picking Perry to retain the TNT Championship. Jarrett goes with Shibata, while RJ picks Perry. Rose then talks about the Women’s World Title Match and says they haven’t seen how deep Mariah May can go in her bag of tricks to retain the title tonight.

We then head to the back, where Darby Allin says tonight will not be pretty and he wants to know how far Brody King is willing to go. Allin then says Bryan Danielson will not be going down tonight as he is destined to face Danielson for the AEW World Title.

It is then announced that we will have a 4th match in the pre-show and it will feature The Conglomeration’s “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly teaming with The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum) to face Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver) and The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese) in an 8-Man Tag Team Match.

Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness then welcomes us to the show and we get the entrances of the first match of the pre-show.

ROH World Television Championship Match: Atlantis Jr. (c) vs. “The Machine” Brian Cage

The match starts off with both men shaking hands. Cage then hits a shoulder tackle on Atlantis Jr., then follows it up with a missile dropkick and gets him on his shoulders. Atlantis Jr. then escapes, but Cage hits him with a spinebuster and flexes his biceps. Cage then delivers a few shoulders on Atlantis Jr.’s midsection, then sends him into the opposite corner and hits him with a back suplex. Cage then goes for a pin, but Atlantis Jr. kicks out. Cage then delivers a few hammer and anvil elbows on Atlantis Jr., then stomps on the side of his head and hits him with a chop on his chest. Atlantis Jr. then responds with a kick on Cage’s chest and a hurricanrana off the ropes, then follows it up with a head scissors and sends Cage crashing into the corner. Atlantis Jr. then hits an enzuigiri from the apron and a crossbody off the ropes on Cage, then follows it up with a tope suicida through the middle rope and flies over the top to land on Cage. Atlantis Jr. then gets Cage back in the ring and goes for a pin, but Cage kicks out. Atlantis Jr. then hits a chop on Cage’s chest in the corner and sends him into the opposite one, then hits him with a slam and goes for a pin. Cage then kicks out and hits a suplex on Atlantis Jr. into the ring from the apron, but Atlantis Jr. responds with a DDT and goes for a pin of his own and Cage kicks out.

Atlantis Jr. then gets Cage up on his shoulders, then hits him with a spinning sit-out powerbomb and goes for another pin. Cage then kicks out and Atlantis Jr. climbs to the top, then hits Cage with a Frog Splash and goes for the pin. Cage then kicks out and looks to hit the Drill Claw, but Atlantis Jr. rolls him up. Cage then kicks out once again and hits the Drill Claw on Atlantis Jr. for the win.

We then head to the back, where Alicia Atout is interviewing MxM Collection (Mason Madden and Mansoor) and asks about their guest tonight. Mansoor says he’s anything but ugly and he will make sure they take The Acclaimed’s spot and end scissoring forever. Mansoor then asks how they look and Rico shows up and says they look so good to him.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the pre-show, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Anna Jay vs. The Outcasts’ Harley Cameron

The match starts off with Cameron hitting a drop toe hold on Jay and gloating, but Jay responds with a shoulder tackle and a couple of knees on Cameron’s midsection. Jay then sends Cameron into the corner and hits her with an overhand chop, then places her on the top turnbuckle and hits her with a roundhouse kick. Cameron then responds with a crossbody on Jay off the middle rope, but Jay sends her onto the apron and hits Cameron with a missile dropkick that sends her crashing onto the floor. Jay then hits a suplex on Cameron, then locks in a submission on her using the ring post for extra leverage. Cameron then sends Jay crashing into it face first, then sends her into the ring apron spine first and sends her face bouncing off it. Cameron then sends Jay back in the ring and nails her with a back elbow, then goes for a pin but Jay kicks out. Cameron then wears Jay down with a submission, then sends her crashing into the mat. Jay then hits a jawbreaker on Cameron and delivers some right hands on her, then nails her with a flying back elbow and places her on the top rope. Cameron then rolls up Jay, but Jay kicks out and rolls her up. Cameron then kicks out and Cameron and Jay teeter on the ropes, but Jay escapes and hits a kick on Cameron to trip her. Jay then follows it up with the Gory Bomb for the win.

The panel then speaks briefly and we get the entrances of the next match of the pre-show, which is a Tag Team Match.

Tag Team Match: The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) vs. MxM Collection (Mason Madden and Mansoor)

The match starts off with Anthony Bowens and Mansoor. Mansoor nails Bowens and rolls him up, but Bowens kicks out. Mason Madden and Max Caster then tag in and lock up, but Caster looks to nail Madden with a couple of shoulder tackles, but Madden stays standing and nails Caster with one of his own. Caster then responds with a shoulder tackle on Madden off the top rope. Mansoor then tags in, but Caster hits him with an Atomic Drop and tags in Bowens. Bowens and Caster then hit double back elbows on Mansoor in the corner before Caster tags back in and hits a right hand on Mansoor’s midsection. Rico then takes a cheap shot at Caster on the outside, but Gunn gets in his face. Mansoor then pins Caster back in the ring, but Caster kicks out. Mansoor then nail Caster with a forearm, then tags in Madden. Madden then hits a chop on Caster, then tags Mansoor back in. MxM Collection then hit a leg drop-Sidewalk Slam on Caster and Mansoor sends him crashing into the turnbuckles. Madden then tags in and hits a double chop on Caster, then tags Mansoor back in.

Bowens then tags in on his side and hits a Famouser on Mansoor, then follows it up with a kick on his head and goes for a pin. Mansoor then kicks out and hits a sit out powerbomb on Bowens, then goes for a pin but Caster breaks the fall. Bowens then takes down MxM Collection and tags in Caster. Caster then looks to hit the Mic Drop, but MxM Collection sees him coming and double team on him. Bowens then hits the Scissor Me Timbers on Mansoor and looks to scissor Bowens, but Madden pulls him out of the ring before he can. Bowens then sends Mansoor and Madden out of the other side of the ring and flies off the top rope with a crossbody to land on them. Rico then looks to drag Mansoor into the ring, but Gunn sneaks up behind him and hits him with a Famouser. Mansoor then checks on Rico, but Bowens sneaks up behind him and hits him with The Arrival. Caster then tags in and hits the Mic Drop on Mansoor for the win.

AEW TBS and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion “The CEO” Mercedes Moné is then shown arriving to the arena with “The Brickhouse” Kamille and demands from a backstage hand talking to Queen Aminata where her locker room and water is. Aminata then interrupts Moné and says she doesn’t care what Moné has done in this business and there’s no need to be that rude. Moné then mocks Aminata and tells her to get out of her face as she and Kamille storm off.

We then see Tony Schiavone on the stage and he brings up WrestleDream being about the memory of Antonio Inoki as he brings out AEW President Tony Khan, along with Inoki’s grandsons, Hirota and Naoto Antonio as Khan leads the crowd in an Inoki chant.

We then get a video of Adam Copeland and Dax Harwood telling fans how to donate to the families and businesses effected by Hurricane Helene.

We then get the entrances of the final match of the pre-show, which is an 8-Man Tag Team Match.

8-Man Tag Team Match: The Conglomeration (“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly) and The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum) vs. Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver) and The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese)

The match starts off with Truth Magnum and Tony Nese. Magnum hits a head scissors on Nese, but Alex Reynolds and Kyle O’Reilly then tag in and lock up. Cassidy then makes the blind tag and O’Reilly hits a knee on Reynolds’ midsection. John Silver then gets in the ring, but Cassidy takes him down and hits him with a suplex. Cassidy then goes for a pin, but Reynolds kicks out. Turbo Floyd then tags in and delivers some right and left hands on Reynolds in the corner. O’Reilly then tags in and delivers more right hands on Reynolds in the corner before Cassidy tags in and follows suit. The Premier Athletes then beat Cassidy down on the outside as the referee is distracted and Reynolds sends Cassidy back in the ring. Reynolds then goes for a pin, but Cassidy kicks out. Ariya Daivari then tags in and delivers some right hands on Cassidy in the corner with Nese. Nese then tags back in and wears Cassidy down before Reynolds tags in and delivers some stomps on him in the corner. Nese then tags back in, but Cassidy nails him with a Tornado DDT. Floyd then tags in and hits bodyslams with Magnum on Dark Order and Premier Athletes. They then hit a double elbow drop on Nese. Daivari then tags in and delivers some right hands on Floyd, but Floyd stays standing on his feet and delivers some right hands of his own on him. Cassidy then tags in and hits the Orange Punch on Daivari and pins him, but Mark Sterling puts Daivari’s foot on the bottom rope to break the fall. Cassidy and O’Reilly then double team on Sterling to take him down and The Outrunners send Daivari crashing into the mat for the win.

We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is interviewing AEW Continental Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada and asks what brings him to Tacoma as he doesn’t have a match tonight. Okada says he’s here to support The Elite as Kyle O’Reilly enters and asks for a match. Okada says he’ll think about it, then says hell no, b***h. O’Reilly then says he gets it and next time he’ll try a different approach and punches Okada in the face. Security then intervenes with Christopher Daniels and ejects both Okada and O’Reilly from the arena and the AEW WrestleDream Zero Hour Pre-Show comes to a close.

AEW WrestleDream Results (10/12/2024):

AEW WrestleDream opens up with pyro shooting off the stage. Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness then welcomes us and we get the entrances of the first match of the PPV.

Singles Match: Bang Bang Gang’s “Switchblade” Jay White vs. “Hangman” Adam Page

The match starts off with White slapping Page and delivering some right hands and a couple of kicks, but Page sends White into the opposite corner. White then catapults Page into the bottom rope and sends him crashing into the apron face first, then sends him back in the ring and goes for a pin. Page then kicks out and White delivers a series of chops on him. Page then sends White onto the apron and hits him with a lariat, then sends him back in the ring. White then delivers some right hands and a chop on Page in the corner, but Page responds with some right hands on White and follows it up with a chop. Page then hits a Fallaway Slam on White in the corner and goes for a pin, but White gets his hand on the bottom rope to break the fall. Page then delivers more right hands on White in the corner, but White responds with an Atomic Drop. Page then sends White crashing into the mat and pins him, but White kicks out. White then sends Page onto the apron, but Page hits him with a boot. White then suplexes Page into the corner and delivers some right hands and chops on Page in the corner, but Page responds with a forearm. White then hits a chop on Page, then follows it up with a German suplex and goes for a pin. White then kicks out and places Page on the top rope, then joins him up there and bites Page. Page then pushes White off, but White trips Page and delivers some chops on him as he hangs off the top turnbuckle.

Page then hits a Death Valley Driver on White on the apron, then sends him back inside the ring and nails him with a series of forearms from the apron. White then respond with a Dragon Screw on Page using the middle rope for extra leverage, but Page hits a couple of powerbombs on White onto the apron and the ring steps. White and Page then deliver some strikes on each other on the ramp. Page then looks to use his belt to lash White with, but White sees him coming and sends his face bouncing off the side of the entrance ramp. White then hits a chop on Page and sends his face bouncing off the ring apron, then sends him back in the ring. White then delivers some right hands and chops on Page, then hits him with a uranage and goes for a pin. Page then kicks out and White hits him with a Snap Dragon suplex, then sets up for the Blade Runner. Page then sees it coming and hits a Deadeye on White. Page then looks to follow it up with the Buckshot Lariat, but White sees it coming and hits Page with the Blade Runner for the win.

After the match, Juice Robinson made his way out and celebrated with White.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is an AEW Women’s World Championship Match.

AEW Women’s World Championship Match: “The Glamour” Mariah May (c) vs. Willow Nightingale

The match starts off with Nightingale sending May across the ring and hitting her with a bodyslam, then sending her face bouncing off the top turnbuckle and hitting her with a chop. May then hits a missile dropkick on Nightingale, then delivers some right hands on her and hits a chop on her in the corner. May then delivers a few kicks on Nightingale’s midsection and hits her with another missile dropkick, then goes for a pin but Nightingale kicks out. Nightingale then bites May, then sends her crashing into the mat twice and sends her face bouncing off the top turnbuckle. Nightingale then rakes her eyes using the middle rope, then sends her head bouncing off the adjacent top turnbuckle and hits her with a spinebuster. Nightingale then goes for a pin, but May kicks out. Nightingale then cinches in a Figure Four Leg Lock on May, then hits her with a cannonball in the corner. May then responds with a dropkick and follows it up with May Day, then goes for a pin but Nightingale kicks out. Nightingale then turns May inside out with a clothesline, then sets up for the Doctor Bomb. May then escapes, but Nightingale gets her in an Electric Chair position. May then rolls Nightingale up, but Nightingale reverses the fall and May kicks out. Nightingale then hits May with a Death Valley Driver and goes for another pin, but May kicks out. May then hits an avalanche hurricanrana on Nightingale, then nails her with a running knee and follows it up with Storm Zero for the win.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is an AEW TNT Championship Match.

AEW TNT Championship Match: The Elite’s “The Scapegoat” Jack Perry (c) vs. “The Wrestler” Katsuyori Shibata

The match starts off with Perry hitting a suplex on Shibata and both men continue going back and forth. Perry then delivers some kicks on Shibata’s spine, then sends him crashing into the corner and hits some shoulders on his midsection. Perry then delivers a few chops on Shibata, but Shibata responds with several of his own. Perry then hits Shibata with a clothesline, but Shibata responds with a suplex. Shibata then delivers some kicks on Perry’s chest and follows it up with several rapid fire chops. Shibata then suplexes Perry into the ring apron and gets him back in the ring, then delivers some right hands on him in the corner. Perry then looks to hit a kick on Shibata’s chest, but Shibata avoids it. Perry then wears Shibata down with a submission, but Shibata gets his hand on the bottom rope to break the hold. Perry then hits a hanging DDT on Shibata off the ring apron and goes for a pin, but Shibata kicks out. Shibata then locks in a Sleeper on Perry, but Perry counters into a pinfall for the win.

After the match, Perry continues beating Shibata down and hits him with the TNT Championship. Perry then looks to hit Shibata with it a second time, but Daniel Garcia’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring to confront Perry. Garcia stares Perry down, but Perry slides out of the ring. MJF’s music then hits and he makes his way out. MJF slides in the ring and captures Garcia’s attention, opening the door for Perry to nail Garcia from behind with the TNT Championship. MJF then delivers some right hands on Garcia and tells Garcia it’s been a while since he’s seen him. MJF then tells Garcia it took him some time to track down his Dynamite Diamond Ring, but he found it and Garcia will now kiss it. MJF then places the ring on his pinky finger and looks to nail Garcia with it, but Adam Cole’s music hits and he makes his way out. Cole makes his way down to the ring looking to get some retribution on his former tag team partner, but MJF retreats before he can nail him. Cole then helps Garcia up and shows him respect.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is an AEW International Championship 3-Way Match.

AEW International Championship 3-Way Match: “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay (c) vs. Don Callis Family’s “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita vs. Ricochet

The match starts with Ricochet and Ospreay taking turns in hitting kicks on Takeshita’s spine. Ospreay then looks to hit the Os-Cutter on Ricochet, but Ricochet intercepts him. Takeshita then hits a double dropkick on Ospreay and Ricochet, then spikes Ricochet with a DDT on the outside and grabs a table from under the ring. Takeshita then sets it up and sends Ricochet’s face bouncing off the ring apron, then looks to hit him with a Blue Thunder Bomb through it. Ricochet then escapes and charges at Takeshita, but Takeshita nails him and hits him with a dropkick. Ricochet then flies over the top looking to land on Takeshita, but Takeshita catches him. Ospreay then flies to land on both men. Ospreay then sends Takeshita back in the ring and hits him with a forearm off the middle rope, then goes for a pin but Takeshita kicks out. Ricochet then takes both Takeshita and Ospreay down, then hits a standing Shooting Star Press on Takeshita and goes for a pin. Takeshita then kicks out and Ospreay hits him and Ricochet with a kick.

Ospreay, Ricochet and Takeshita then brawl on the apron and Takeshita hits Ospreay with the Death Valley Driver. Ricochet then hits a meteora on Takeshita off the middle turnbuckle, then sends Ricochet crashing into the mat. Ricochet then responds with a Canadian Destroyer on Ospreay, but Ospreay hits a Styles Clash on Ricochet and goes for a pin and Takeshita breaks the fall. Takeshita then hits a Blue Thunder Bomb on Ricochet and goes for a pin, but Ricochet kicks out. Ospreay then delivers some forearms on Takeshita, but Takeshita nails him with one of his own. Ricochet and Ospreay then agree to double team on Takeshita to take him down and nail him with right hands, but Takeshita nails them both with right hands. Ospreay then hits a kick on Takeshita’s head and sets up for the Os-Cutter, but Takeshita sees it coming and looks to hit a clothesline and Ospreay avoids it and hits the Os-Cutter. All three men then continue going back and forth, but Ospreay and Ricochet take turns hitting reverse hurricanranas on each other. Takeshita then hits a couple of German suplexes on Ricochet and Ospreay, then flies out of the ring to land on both men and sends Ricochet back inside.

Takeshita then hits a boot on Ricochet’s jaw, then climbs up the ropes with him. Ospreay then pulls Takeshita off and nails him with an enzuigiri, then hits him with an avalanche hurricanrana. Takeshita then hits Ricochet, but Ricochet counters into a pin. Takeshita then kicks out and takes down Ospreay and Ricochet, then pins them both. Ospreay and Ricochet then both kick out and Takeshita spots the table he set up on the outside and sends Ricochet crashing through it with a belly-to-back piledriver. When Takeshita gets back in the ring, he walks into a couple of Hidden Blades from Ospreay. Ospreay then goes for a pin, but Don Callis appears and pulls the referee out of the ring. Callis then looks to hit Ospreay with the screwdriver, but Ospreay wrestles it from him. A hooded figure then appears and hits Ospreay with the screwdriver, then reveals himself to be Kyle Fletcher. This then opens the door for Takeshita to hit a jumping knee on Ospreay for the win.

The winner of the 3-Way Match and new AEW International Champion, Don Callis Family’s “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita!

After the match, Fletcher sends Ospreay crashing into the mat and celebrates with Takeshita and Callis.

We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette reveals that Jerry Lynn wants to speak with Orange Cassidy. Lynn says he has never seen anyone like Cassidy and tells him that he even dressed up like him for Halloween. Lynn then tells Cassidy that he can be the man if he really wants to be. HOOK then shows up and tells Cassidy that he really is the man.

Prince Nana is now standing inside the ring and introduces Swerve Strickland as the most dangerous man in AEW. Swerve then makes his entrance way down to the ring. Strickland starts off by saying it feels a little weird not having the AEW World Championship, but being in his hometown of Tacoma is making him a little happier. Strickland then says he still feels a little pain and he wanted to address the fans and tell them about the past, present and future. MVP then interrupts Strickland and makes his way down to the ring with Shelton Benjamin. MVP tells Strickland that it’s good he wants to talk about the future and says he must be in deep contemplation as he ponders what’s next for him and continues dodging his calls and messages. MVP then says that he and Strickland go way back, but says his career seems to be floundering a little bit. MVP then says he’s become good at taking former champions and reminding them of what it takes to be great in order to regain the championships they should have. MVP then invites Strickland to talk business and Strickland recalls the great advice MVP gave him and he lost to him in a match they had on the independents. Strickland then tells Benjamin that he was a big inspiration to him and his 12 year old self will be crying if he could see him standing in the ring with Benjamin right now, then says he’s been watching AEW the past few weeks. Strickland then tells Nana that MVP isn’t wrong in what he’s been saying and says the past couple of months have been tough on them. Strickland then tells Nana that he lost a Lights Out Steel Cage Match, his childhood home and the AEW World Championship because of him, but he also gave him all those things. Strickland then says sometimes he can’t find Nana before they have to go to the ring, but he’s still family and he doesn’t turn his back on family for anyone. Strickland then tells MVP that he’s not interested in joining him and Benjamin because they’re in his house now. Benjamin then stares down Strickland and says Strickland is either with them or against them. Officials then run down to the ring to keep Strickland and Benjamin apart. Once on the stage, MVP points at his watch while looking at Swerve and then heads to the back. Swerve then holds his arms open and shares a hug with Nana.

Commentary then announces Mercedes Moné vs. Queen Aminata for the TBS Title on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is a 2-Out-Of-3 Falls Match.

2-Out-Of-3 Falls Match: Hologram vs. LFI’s The Beast Mortos

The match starts with both men going back and forth. Hologram then hits an arm drag on Mortos, but Mortos returns the favor. Hologram then hits a second arm drag and a couple of kicks on Mortos’ jaw, then sends him out of the ring and hits him with a tope suicida to land on him. Hologram then sends Mortos back in the ring and charges at him in the corner, but Mortos hits him with a boot and a Samoan Drop. Mortos then goes for a pin, but Hologram kicks out. Hologram and Mortos then teeter on the top rope, but Hologram fights off Mortos and flies to land on him. Hologram then transitions into a pin to score a fall. Mortos then sends Hologram onto the entrance ramp spine first, then gets him back in the ring and goes for a pin. Mortos then kicks out and suplexes Hologram into the corner, then drapes him off the top turnbuckle and delivers a shoulder on his midsection. Hologram then hits a moonsault on Mortos off the top on the outside, then gets back in the ring and hits him with a reverse hurricanrana. Mortos then gets Hologram up on his shoulders and hits him with a couple of backbreakers before turning him inside out with a clothesline and pinning him for the next fall. Mortos then slaps Hologram and sends him into the corner. Both men then teeter on the ropes and Hologram hits a hurricanrana on Mortos. Hologram then hits a couple of enzuigiris on Mortos and sends him crashing onto the apron, then walks the top rope and flies off it to land on Mortos. Hologram then hits a double stomp on Mortos off the top, then climbs back up it and looks to hit a 450 Splash. Mortos then gets his knees up, but Hologram hits him with a Spanish Fly and both men teeter on the top rope. Mortos then hits a Michinoku Driver on Hologram off the top rope, then turns him inside out with a clothesline. Hologram then climbs back up to the top and looks to fly, but Mortos hits him with a Samoan Drop and goes for a pin. Hologram then kicks out and gets Mortos up on his shoulders, then hits him with a spinning sit-out powerbomb for the win.

Singles Match: Darby Allin vs. House Of Black’s Brody King

The match starts off with Allin wasting no time in going after King with chops. King then sends Allin out of the ring, then sends him crashing into the barricade and drags the ring steps away from the ring post. King then nails Allin with a chop, but Allin looks to fly off the ring steps. King then nails Allin mid-air, then places the ring steps on Allin and stands on top of them to sandwich Allin between him and the floor. King then sends Allin crashing into the side of them and sends him back in the ring. King then hits a senton on Allin, then nails a couple of chops on him and sends him across the ring. King then hits a splash on Allin in the corner, then drapes him off the top turnbuckle by his knees. Allin then flies through the middle rope twice to nail King, then hits King with a Coffin Drop off the middle rope. Allin then sends himself and King crashing onto the ring apron, but King nails Allin with a chop. Allin then responds with an open palm strike on King and looks to fly off the ropes, but King puts him in a Sleeper. King then pins Allin, but Allin kicks out. Allin then delivers some headbutts on King as he stands on the middle turnbuckle, then sends him crashing into the ring steps and follows it up with a Coffin Drop. Allin then sends King back in the ring and hits him with a Coffin Drop on his spine for the win.

After the match, both men get to their feet. King then offers a handshake to Allin and Allin accepts.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is an AEW World Tag Team Championship Match.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: The Elite’s The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) (c) vs. Private Party (Zay and Quen)

The match starts off with The Young Bucks storming to the back after Private Party blindsides them in the ring, but Private Party meets them on the ramp. The Bucks then hit them with a couple of kicks and gloat, but Marq Quen climbs up the entrance tunnel and hits a Swanton Bomb off it. Isiah Kassidy then blindsides Nicholas Jackson from behind and sends him back in the ring. Kassidy then hits a crossbody off the top. Quen then tags in and Nicholas hits Kassidy with a facebuster from the apron, but Quen takes Nicholas and Matthew down with a double hurricanrana on the outside. Kassidy then flies to land on The Bucks on the outside. The Bucks then hit a double superkick on Quen and Kassidy, then send him crashing into the top turnbuckle face first. Matthew and Nicholas then hit a double back elbow on Quen in the ring, but Quen nails Nicholas with a Pele Kick. Matthew then gets in the ring and hits a double ax handle on Quen, but Kassidy runs him over with a clothesline and hits a back elbow on Nicholas. Kassidy then hits a second clothesline on Matthew and a springboard moonsault on Nicholas on the outside.

We then see Stokely Hathaway, Top Flight, Lio Rush and Leila Grey watching the action from the crowd as Kassidy and Nicholas continue to brawl. Kassidy then hits a hurricanrana on Matthew, but Nicholas sends Quen out of the ring and flies off the top to land on Private Party. Nicholas then hits a Canadian Destroyer on Kassidy from behind the barricade, but Quen hits a 450 Splash on him off the barricade to land on him. Kassidy then delivers some right and left hands on Nicholas in the ring, but Nicholas responds with a kick on his head. Nicholas and Kassidy then teeter on the ropes before Nicholas hits a cutter on Kassidy and goes for a pin, but Kassidy kicks out. Matthew and Nicholas then set up for the TK Driver on Kassidy, but Quen trips Nicholas and Kassidy rolls up Matthew. Matthew then kicks out and hits a double superkick on Quen with Nicholas. The Bucks then look to double team on Quen, but Quen escapes and Private Party double teams on Nicholas. Kassidy then gets Nicholas up on his shoulders and sends him crashing into the mat. Quen then hits a 450 Splash and Kassidy follows it up with a moonsault off the ropes. The Bucks then double team on Quen and hit the EVP Trigger on Kassidy. The Bucks then set up for a second EVP Trigger on Kassidy after he kicks out of the first, but Kassidy avoids it and rolls up Matthew. Matthew then kicks out and The Bucks hit The TK Driver on Kassidy for the win.

After the match, Hathaway was shown smirking in the crowd and Kassidy was emotional. The crowd then starts to chant “Private Party.”

ROH World Championship Match: The Conglomeration’s Mark Briscoe (c) vs. “The Learning Tree” Chris Jericho

The match starts off with Mark delivering some stomps on Jericho in the corner. Mark then delivers a couple of open palm strikes on Jericho on the outside, then sets up a chair on the outside and places Jericho in it. Mark then flies off the apron with a Blockbuster to take down Jericho, but Bill hits a big boot on Mark on the outside to take him down and sets up a table against the announce desk. Orange Cassidy then appears at ringside and goes after Bill. Cassidy then hits a couple of Orange Punches on him, opening the door for Mark to send Jericho crashing onto the ring apron and follows it up with a Death Valley Driver in the ring. Jericho then sends Mark crashing into the ring steps, then sends his face bouncing off them and jams his knee into the back of his neck. Jericho and Mark then teeter on the ropes and Jericho delivers some right hands on Mark. Mark then follows it up with a hurricanrana and a back elbow, then hits a trio of right hands and sends Jericho into the corner. Jericho then hits Mark with a boot, but Mark hits a Fisherman’s Buster and goes for a pin and Jericho kicks out.

Jericho then locks in the Liontamer on Mark, but Mark crawls over to the bottom rope to break the hold. Jericho then distracts the referee, opening the door for Bryan Keith to nail Mark and pin him. Mark then kicks out as Rocky Romero appears at ringside to take out Keith. Jericho then looks to nail Mark with a chair, but Mark grabs it from him and sets it up in the ring. Mark then uses it as a launch pad to send Jericho crashing through the table set up by Bill on the outside. Mark then looks to hit the Froggy Bow on Jericho, but Jericho counters it into a Codebreaker and goes for a pin. Mark then kicks out and Jericho hits Mark with the Jay Driller. Jericho then goes for a pin, but Mark kicks out. Mark then becomes fired up and hits a series of strikes on Jericho before nailing him with an inverted Death Valley Driver and the Froggy Bow. Mark then points up to the sky in honor of his brother Jay Briscoe, then hits the Jay Driller on Jericho for the win.

Excalibur then hypes tickets for the AEW Full Gear PPV on November 23 in Newark, New Jersey at the Prudential Center.

AEW World Championship Match: “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley

The match starts off with Moxley attacking Danielson as he’s getting in the ring, but Danielson delivers some kicks on his chest and Moxley grabs a cable from under the ring. Moxley then chokes Danielson with it, then sends him back in the ring and grabs a chair. Danielson then grabs it from Moxley and disposes of it. Danielson then delivers some strikes on Moxley in the corner. Danielson then hits Moxley with the Busaiku Knee and goes for a pin, but Moxley kicks out. Danielson then flies through the middle rope to land on Moxley on the outside before he sends his head bouncing off the commentary desk and delivering the Yes Kicks on his chest. Moxley then responds with a piledriver on Danielson on top of the commentary desk. Moxley then chokes Danielson with the cable he grabbed from under the ring, then hits a couple of elbows on him. Shafir then delivers some knees on Danielson’s neck as Moxley distracts the referee, but Moxley responds with a few chops on Danielson’s chest and stomps on his head. Moxley then follows it up with a neckbreaker and another elbow on Danielson’s neck, then delivers a few more on the back of his neck before Shafir delivers more knees on Danielson’s head while Moxley distracts the referee.

Shafir then exposes majority of the concrete on one of the sides of the ring, then Moxley jams his boot into Danielson’s head using the ring steps. Moxley then looks to send Danielson crashing onto it, but Danielson escapes and sends Moxley on it. Danielson then climbs to the top, but Moxley joins him up there and removes the KT tape from the back of his neck. Moxley then bites it, but Danielson responds with a series of kicks on Moxley and a dropkick. Danielson then climbs to the top with Moxley and hits an avalanche German suplex on him, then looks to hit a diving headbutt. Moxley then avoids it and hits a Curb Stomp on Danielson, then goes for a pin but Danielson kicks out. Moxley then wears Danielson down with a submission hold, but Danielson responds with a piledriver. Moxley then nails Danielson with a forearm, but Danielson returns the favor and both men continue going back and forth. Danielson then delivers some uppercuts on Moxley, then nails him with a clothesline and leads the crowd in a Yes chant. Danielson then looks to hit the Busaiku Knee, but Shafir grabs his ankle. The referee then catches her and ejects her from ringside. Moxley then hits a German suplex on Danielson, but Danielson responds with the Busaiku Knee and goes for a pin. Moxley then kicks out and Danielson delivers some stomps on the side of his head, then cinches in the LeBell Lock on him. Moxley then gets his foot on the bottom rope to break the hold.

Danielson then looks to hit a tope suicida on Moxley, but Moxley sees him coming and intercepts him with a Death Rider onto the exposed concrete. Both men then get back in the ring and Moxley delivers some Hammer and Anvil Elbows on Danielson. Moxley then locks in a Sleeper on Danielson, but Danielson sends him crashing into the mat off the second rope to escape. Moxley and Danielson then exchange kicks on the sides of their head and Danielson delivers several kicks on Moxley’s and locks in a Triangle on him. Moxley then escapes and locks in another Sleeper on Danielson, but Danielson escapes and sends Moxley crashing into the mat. Danielson then hits the Busaiku Knee on Moxley and goes for a pin, but Moxley kicks out. Danielson then sets up for another Busaiku Knee, but Moxley sees him coming. Danielson then hits an open palm strike on Moxley, but Moxley hits him with a piledriver and wears him down with a submission. Danielson then passes out and the referee calls for the bell.

After the match, Moxley grabs a bag and looks to use it on Danielson as Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli and PAC join him in the ring. Wheeler Yuta and Darby Allin then make their way down to the ring to even the odds and Yuta checks on Danielson. Allin then stares down Moxley, but turns around into a running knee from Yuta. Allin is then taped to the ropes and Yuta puts Danielson to sleep using the bag. Members of the roster including Private Party and Jeff Jarrett look to make their way down to the ring to save Danielson, but Moxley, Shafir, PAC and Castagnoli take them down. A chair is then placed on Danielson’s neck and Castagnoli hits a stomp on it. Orange Cassidy and a medical official then untape Allin from the ropes as a stretcher is brought out to ringside and Danielson is loaded onto it as Allin, Cassidy, Daniel Garcia, HOOK and everyone else watches and the show comes to a close.
