AEW WrestleDream is almost upon us and it’s the company’s next major pay-per-view, which is why fans are incredibly excited for the show. In fact, that excitement has been reflected in its ticket sales as the show is close to selling out before showtime.
The WrestleDream pay-per-view will be taking place on October 12th at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington. According to WrestleTix, the venue is currently set up for 8,304 fans and so far, they have managed to sell 7,628. They only have 676 tickets left to sell and have managed to sell 464 tickets since their last update a couple of days ago. Therefore, the show is close to selling out before it begins later today.
The pay-per-view is headlined by Bryan Danielson defending his AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley, where if Danielson loses, his full-time in-ring career is over. Apart from that, Will Ospreay will defend his AEW International Championship in a three-way match against Ricochet and Konosuke Takeshita and that’s definitely a highly anticipated match as well. There are numerous other matches for fans to sink their teeth into as well.
Nonetheless, this is certainly great news for AEW as WrestleDream is already turning out to be a success as far as ticket sales are concerned. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see if the show will be able to live up to the expectations as well in the end.
