In the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, WWE’s NXT roster has faced significant disruptions, with many stars stranded in St. Louis following WWE Raw due to the closure of Orlando International Airport.

Although the hurricane has passed, its impact on Florida’s infrastructure, particularly the Orlando area, has forced the airport to remain closed, delaying NXT talent’s return to their home base in Orlando.

In an update from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that the stranded NXT talent is expected to fly home either late on October 10 or on October 11. WWE has covered hotel expenses for the NXT talent while they wait to return home, as many of them earn less than main roster stars and do not typically handle such costs while on the road. In contrast, main roster talent, who returned home after Raw, usually cover their own hotels, rental cars, and meals unless it’s a major event or overseas tour, where WWE covers those expenses.

The hurricane’s aftermath has also forced WWE to reschedule upcoming NXT live events. The October 12 show in St. Petersburg has been pushed to December 20, while the October 12 show in Orlando has been rescheduled for November 2.
