It’s Friday night, and you know what that means! The post-WWE Bad Blood episode of SmackDown will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the October 11, 2024 episode.

WWE SmackDown Lineup (10/11/2024):

WWE SmackDown Results (10/11/2024):

The show opens up with Michael Cole welcoming us as shots of Greenville, South Carolina are shown. We then get a video package recapping the Bad Blood main event, where Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes defeated The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.

Jimmy Uso’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe.

Jimmy Uso starts off by welcoming fans to SmackDown and says he was sidelined by an injury thanks to Solo Sikoa. Uso then says his younger brother couldn’t even look him in the eyes when he attacked him and blindsided him from behind and it’s about big brother against little brother. Uso then warns Sikoa that he plans on beating him down and doing what he’s done his entire life and that is kick Sikoa’s ass. Roman Reigns’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Reigns calls for Jimmy to hand him his mic and Jimmy does. Reigns then tells Greenville to join him in acknowledging Jimmy and tells Jimmy that since he’s not an older brother or a Wise Man, he can’t understand Jimmy wanting his revenge on Sikoa. Reigns then says he’s a “Tribal Chief” and when he led The Bloodline, they had everything from money to power. Reigns then says when he and Jimmy step foot in the ring, he wants it to be known that they’re the GOATs and the Ones when they hold up their One symbol. Jimmy then says Reigns’ statement isn’t true as he stands in the middle of the ring in front of a “Tribal Chief” without a tribe. Uso then says he came back because Reigns needed help and the two of them need help to take down The Bloodline. Uso then says he knows one person they can get help from, but Reigns tells him not to call Jey Uso. Jimmy then says he’s still “Tribal Chief”, but he’s the only one who actually acknowledges him these days and heads to the back.

WWE United States Champion “The Mega Star” LA Knight was then shown walking backstage. Michael Cole then hypes the United States Title Match and we get an ad for RAW this coming Monday night.

Corey Graves then hypes the music video WWE released that includes footage of the CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell Match. Michael Cole then speaks about seeing several legends at Bad Blood while shots of the legends were shown on the big screen.

We then get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is a WWE United States Championship Match.

WWE United States Championship Match: “The Mega Star” LA Knight (c) vs. Carmelo Hayes

The match starts off with Knight hitting Hayes with a series of right hands. Knight then hits Hayes with a clothesline, then hits him with a second one that sends Hayes crashing out of the ring. Andrade has then taken a seat next to the announce desk watching on as Knight delivers some left hands on Hayes. Knight then hits a powerslam on Hayes and delivers some stomps on him in the corner. Knight then charges at Hayes, but Hayes intercepts Knight with a superkick. Knight then hits a neckbreaker and an elbow drop on Hayes off the top rope before pinning him. Hayes then kicks out and Knight looks to hit a BFT on him. Hayes then prevents Knight from hitting it and nails him with an ax kick, then climbs to the top. Hayes then looks to hit Nothing But Net, but Knight sees him coming and hits Hayes with the BFT for the win.

Jimmy Uso was then shown walking backstage when he suddenly runs into Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, who thanks him. Jimmy tells Rhodes to consider it a favor, but not to expect more. Cody then warns Jimmy that Solo isn’t the same guy he was when Jimmy left. Jimmy then says it’s family business. Jimmy then says it looks like Cody is handling things on his own and he respects him for that before walking away.

Corey Graves then hypes Cody Rhodes vs. GUNTHER in a WWE Crown Jewel Championship match for the Crown Jewel event.

We then get a promo video featuring Meta-Four’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. Legend says they handled their business in NXT and earned a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Cole then hypes the match as coming up next.

Michael Cole then touts the hurricane relief effort via the American Red Cross and we get video footage of Bayley visiting a food shelter.

Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) then make their way down to the ring for the next match, but they were interrupted by Kevin Owens, who rolls inside the ring. Owens says he was told not to come to Smackdown. Owens then says that was crap and he couldn’t let that happen. Owens then says people are asking why he turned on Rhodes. Producers then made their way out and Cole explains the fan footage angle from Bad Blood. Owens then rolls to ringside and puts on a headset. Owens then says Rhodes actually turned on him. Cody Rhodes then made his way out and was held by Randy Orton and security guards while a few other security guards held Owens in the ring. Orton then enters the ring and pushes Owens. Owens then breaks free and Orton grabs him from behind. Owens then elbows Orton, who responds by punching Owens in the face. Owens then rolls to ringside while Orton calms down inside the ring, telling security that he is good.

Meta-Four are shown waiting in the ring for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. NXT Champion Trick Williams is then shown in the front row. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven then stands by the broadcast table. Cole says Green still smelled from the Dumpster Match. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions “The EST Of WWE” Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill then make their way down to the ring. Video footage is then shown of Green and Niven complaining about not getting a title shot. Cargill then says Green stinks. Belair then tells them to sit at ringside and watch them work.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: “The EST Of WWE” Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill (c) vs. Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson)

The match starts off with Legend and Belair. Legend sends Belair crashing into the mat. Legend then goes for a pin, but Belair kicks out. Jackson then tags in and hits a 450 Splash off Legend’s shoulders. Legend then its a neckbreaker-facebuster combination on Belair with Jackson and goes for a pin, but Cargill breaks the fall. Legend then sends Cargill crashing out of the ring with a forearm and sends Belair out on the other side. Jackson then tags in and holds Belair in place as Legend hits a pump kick on Green. Legend then looks to hit one on Belair, but Belair escapes and tags in Cargill. Cargill then hits a pump kick on Jackson, then hits the Codebreaker-assisted German suplex combination on her with Belair for the win.

WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and 2024 Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton were then shown walking through the backstage area.

Commentary then recaps video footage of the angle involving Kevin Owens, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes.

We then head to the back, where SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes are shown standing next to Cody’s bus. Orton tells Cody he needs to get on his bus and assures him that he can fix things with Kevin Owens. Aldis then says he needs Cody to win at Crown Jewel. Cody then gets on his bus and Aldis says Orton is the voice of reason. Alis then says who would have thought.

WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and 2024 Mr. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton then make their way. down to the ring to address the WWE Universe. Nia Jax starts off by giving Bayley credit for putting up a fight at Bad Blood and calls her a worthy contender, but says she still ended up on her back realizing no one on the planet can beat her. Jax then addresses Liv Morgan and their upcoming Champion vs. Champion Match at WWE Crown Jewel. Jax then orders that Stratton cash in her Women’s Money In The Bank contract against Morgan at the upcoming PLE. Naomi then makes her way out and says the only reason Jax is still WWE Women’s Champion is because of Stratton and reminds Jax of what happened when she and Bayley faced her and Stratton in a Tornado Tag Team Match. Jax then questions if Naomi can beat her in singles competition and Naomi expresses her confidence in being able to do so. Liv Morgan’s music then hits and she appears with Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio. Morgan says they came all the way to Smackdown to make an example of Jax. Morgan then says she and her crew will watch Jax lose her match from ringside just as Jax will lose to her at Crown Jewel. Jax then shoves Naomi to the mat.

Singles Match: WWE Women’s Champion “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax vs. Naomi

The match starts off with Naomi hitting Jax with a forearm. Naomi then hits a kick on Jax’s midsection and one on her head, but Jax responds with a splash. Jax then wears Naomi down with a shoulder submission, then sends her crashing into the middle turnbuckle face first. Jax then sends Naomi crashing shoulder first into the adjacent ring post and hits her with a Hip Attack, then goes for a pin but Naomi kicks out. Naomi then hits a split legged leg drop on Jax on the apron and follows it up with a single leg dropkick through the middle rope. Naomi then hits a dropkick on Jax off the apron that sends her crashing into the ring post and follows it up a roundhouse kick on her head. Naomi then looks to fly off the barricade near the timekeeper’s area, but Jax catches her on her shoulders and hits her with a Samoan Drop. Naomi then hits Jax with a superkick and sends her crashing into the middle turnbuckle face first. Naomi then flies off of it with a crossbody and goes for a pin, but Jax kicks out. Naomi then hits a Tornillo over the top rope on Jax on the outside. Jax then distracts the referee as Stratton hits a cheap kick on Naomi. Stratton then looks to hit Naomi with her Money In The Bank briefcase, but Rodriguez grabs it from Stratton. Jax then climbs to the middle rope, but Morgan hits Jax with Stratton’s Women’s Money In The Bank briefcase as Rodriguez distracts the referee. This then opens the door for Naomi to hit a powerbomb on Jax off the ropes for the win.

After the match, Rhea Ripley’s music hits and she attacks Rodriguez on the ramp. Ripley then kicks Jax and goes after Morgan, but Rodriguez helps Morgan out of the ring.

We then head to the back, where we see Carmelo Hayes complaining to Nick Aldis about Andrade’s involvement in his title match. Aldis then points out that he and Andrade were tied 3-3 in their matches and books them in a seventh match. Aldis then says the winner of the match may be in line for a United States Title shot. Aldis then tells Hayes not to miss. Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Elektra Lopez, Angel, and Berto) then shows up after Hayes leaves. Escobar complains about Hayes and Andrade having a permanent spot in the United States Title line. Aldis then points out that Escobar came up short in his title match. Escobar then says he wasn’t just talking about himself and then points to Elektra and Angel. Aldis then says he has a very special team in mind for Angel and Berto. Aldis then says he selects the team they will face and if they win they will definitely have proven they deserve a title shot.

Solo Sikoa is then shown holding the Ulafala. Sikoa says Jimmy Uso is looking for an advantage, but he won’t get it. Sikoa then says Jimmy might be big brother, but he’s the Tribal Chief and Jimmy will acknowledge him. A graphic then lists Solo Sikoa vs. Jimmy Uso.

We then get a video package with the letters “MCMG” being shown. The video ends with a “next week” graphic.

We then get highlights from last week’s Triple Threat Ladder Match for the WWE Tag Team Titles.

We then head to the back, where Nick Aldis is shown standing in between the bickering Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) and #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) and informs them that a new team will be debuting next week. Aldis then says he saw something in the distance while the teams were arguing. Kevin Owens is shown attacking Randy Orton outside the building. Aldis then calls for security and asks Owens what he is doing. Security then ushers Owens away and Aldis calls for medics to tend to Orton.

The Bloodline then make their way down to the ring for the main event. We then get video footage of CM Punk beating Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match and Graves plugs the “It’s Supposed To Hurt” video that the company has released on YouTube.

Jimmy Uso then makes his way down to the ring for the main event and we get video footage from April of Sikoa and Tama Tonga taking out Jimmy.

Singles Match: Jimmy Uso vs. The Bloodline’s “The Tribal Chief” Solo Sikoa

The match starts off with both men going back and forth with one another before Jimmy flies out of the ring with a tope suicida to land on Sikoa on the outside. Jacob Fatu then takes a cheap shot at Jimmy on the apron and Sikoa hits Jimmy with a headbutt. Sikoa then looks to send Jimmy crashing into the ring post, but Jimmy stops his momentum and sends Sikoa crashing into it instead. Sikoa then returns the favor, then clotheslines Jimmy on the apron and sends him crashing on the apron. Fatu then nails Jimmy. Sikoa then hits a Hip Attack on Jimmy in the corner. Jimmy then slaps him, but Sikoa nails Jimmy with a Leg Lariat. Fatu then hits an open palm strike on Jimmy from the outside, then hits him with several strikes. Sikoa then hits the Spinning Solo on Jimmy and pins him, but Jimmy kicks out. Sikoa then hits a Hip Attack on Jimmy in the corner, but Jimmy responds with a superkick and a second kick. Jimmy then follows it up with an enzuigiri and hits another one to the apron, then delivers a crossbody off the top and goes for a pin. Jimmy then kicks out and hits a Samoan Drop on Sikoa, then climbs to the top. The referee then becomes distracted by a member of The Bloodline, opening the door for Sikoa to hit a Samoan Spike on Jimmy for the win.

After the match, The Bloodline looks to beat Jimmy down but Roman Reigns’ music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Reigns takes down Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, then stares down Sikoa. Fatu then nails Reigns from behind and hits him with a Hip Attack, then takes Jimmy down with a superkick and a moonsault off the top as Tonga and Loa beat down Reigns. The Bloodline then stands tall on the entrance ramp as the show comes to a close.
