Since making his debut at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam 2024, former WWE United States Champion MVP has been making waves in All Elite Wrestling. His debut saw him confront Prince Nana about his management of Swerve Strickland, and now MVP has taken it a step further, teasing his AEW theme song on social media.
On October 11, MVP hinted that his entrance theme song could be crafted by none other than Westside Gunn and Smoke DZA. He took to Twitter to hype the collaboration, writing:
“Got something brewing for you. @WESTSIDEGUNN and @smokedza came through!!!!! thehurtsyndicate #fashionablyviolent”
The announcement has generated excitement among fans, as MVP’s entrance music has always been an essential part of his persona. The collaboration with Westside Gunn and Smoke DZA adds a layer of hip-hop flair to his new role in AEW, fitting in with his “Hurt Syndicate” vibe.
Since joining AEW, MVP has also introduced his long-time associate, Shelton Benjamin, to the company. The two veterans have continued to question Prince Nana’s management of Swerve Strickland, further adding fuel to their brewing rivalry.
With Swerve Strickland set to make his return at AEW WrestleDream this Saturday, fans are eagerly awaiting to see how MVP’s influence will affect the direction of Swerve’s career and whether the teased theme song will debut alongside him.
