Mark Henry has never been one to shy away from speaking his mind, and he just proved that again by clapping back at a Twitter user who took a shot at Jade Cargill. The WWE Hall of Famer didn’t hold back when a fan criticized Cargill’s move to WWE, and Henry’s fiery response has everyone talking!
It all started when Twitter user @WWEbotched tried to throw shade at Cargill, mocking her ambition to break into Hollywood and comparing her progress to MJF, who recently landed several acting roles. The tweet read, “Jade going to WWE (and isn’t any better btw) to get to Hollywood and MJF landing 3 roles before her is pretty hilarious.”
Well, Mark Henry wasn’t having any of it! Jumping to Cargill’s defense, Henry unloaded on the critic with a savage response, “You hateful, penis rider. Why criticize somebody that you don’t know? You are not on the AEW payroll. They don’t know you, they don’t care about your opinion. They don’t need you to speak for them. Nor would they say anything about somebody that don’t work for them.”
Henry, who has had an extensive career in WWE and AEW, has worked closely with Cargill in the past, and it’s clear he respects her drive and ambition. His response was quick to remind the critic that their opinion doesn’t hold any weight in the world of professional wrestling, especially when it comes to someone as driven as Cargill.
Even though Henry left AEW earlier this year, his influence in the wrestling community remains strong. In fact, Henry has been making waves outside of AEW, including appearing backstage at TNA Victory Road 2024 in San Antonio, Texas. The event featured several major moments, including Mike Bailey winning back the TNA X-Division Championship and Steph De Lander revealing she’ll need neck surgery. Despite his busy schedule, Henry clearly isn’t too busy to call out haters when they come for his former colleagues.
Mark Henry’s no-nonsense approach to defending Cargill has sparked plenty of conversation among wrestling fans, proving that even after leaving AEW, he’s still got his finger on the pulse of the industry—and he’s not afraid to speak up when needed.
