Bryan Danielson might be reigning as the AEW World Champion, but at home, he’s dealing with some unexpected challenges—like his son Buddy being kicked out of school for some rather aggressive behavior!

During an interview on The Daly Migs Show with Taryn Daly and Steve Migs, Danielson shared a humorous story about his son’s mischief, adding a lighthearted glimpse into his family life.

Fans have come to know Danielson’s children, Birdie and Buddy, as they’ve occasionally been referenced on AEW programming, especially as Bryan begins to wind down his full-time wrestling career. The two children, along with Brie Bella (Brie Garcia), sat front row at AEW All In, celebrating in the ring after Danielson won the AEW World Title.

However, it sounds like Buddy is already embracing some pro-wrestling-style antics! Danielson humorously recalled:

“We had a parent-teacher conference at my daughter’s school, and it was like, ‘Your daughter is the best. She’s the best student. She’s so helpful.’ Later that night, I get an email from where our son was going to school telling us he had been kicked out of school for ‘biting two teachers and gouging one in the eye.’ [laughs]. Of course, they’re like, ‘Of course, the wrestler’s son is gouging somebody in the eye.’ Some of the things I’ve done… [laughs]. We’re like, ‘No, we don’t let him watch wrestling. That’s not me in real life.'”

While Danielson made it clear that Buddy doesn’t watch wrestling, the irony of the situation wasn’t lost on him, especially given his own wrestling persona.

As Danielson looks toward finishing his full-time career when he eventually loses his AEW World Championship, it seems his son Buddy may be gearing up for his own future in wrestling—whether intentionally or not!
