The WWE Bad Blood 2024 Premium Live Event aimed to deliver a major shock to fans, and they succeeded when The Rock made a surprise return at the end of the show, leaving the audience stunned. Following this massive moment, WWE’s potential plans for The Rock at WrestleMania 41 have now been revealed.

After the main event of WWE Bad Blood 2024, where Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match, fans were stunned by the unexpected return of The Rock. Without speaking, he locked eyes with both Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, leaving everyone wondering what his next move would be.

Shortly after his return, The Rock took to Instagram, posting a video where he cut a fiery promo about the current state of WWE. In the video, he hinted at major changes coming soon and didn’t shy away from taking jabs at both Cody Rhodes and John Cena, adding to the suspense surrounding his comeback.

On the Q&A session with WrestleVotes on Backstage Pass, host Joe Lowry discussed The Rock’s return at WWE Bad Blood 2024. WrestleVotes hinted at the possibility of a Triple Threat Match for WrestleMania 41. WrestleVotes suggested that WWE is strongly considering a match involving Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and The Rock at the biggest event of the year, set to take place in Las Vegas.

While it hasn’t been finalized, WrestleVotes explained that this potential matchup seems like the best direction for the company, adding that it’s on the table and the idea is being floated backstage. Bringing all three major stars into the same ring would create a massive storyline heading into WrestleMania, giving WWE the opportunity to deliver a truly historic main event. Though nothing is set in stone, the idea of a Triple Threat Match remains a strong possibility as WWE plans for the future.

“My thought is that it signifies that’s where we’re going for WrestleMania – 1, 2, 3 as in Triple Threat Match. I can tell you that’s on the table but I’m not sure if it’s finalized in any way. It’s October, so I doubt it’s been finalized but the idea is being floated and I think it makes sense for the company as a whole just to get those three guys in one ring at one time and push the story to the moon.”

Recent footage of Solo Sikoa after Bad Blood seemingly hinted at the fact that the new Bloodline may be working with The Rock. Nonetheless, it remains to be seen whether The Rock will square off against Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41, as anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling.
