When Collision initially launched, it was intended to be CM Punk’s show, with a loosely enforced roster division. However, this unofficial split soon faded away. Now, with the new television deal in place, the concept of splitting the roster has resurfaced.
During a media call promoting WrestleDream, Tony Khan addressed the idea of a roster split in light of the new television deal. While he didn’t confirm any concrete plans, he acknowledged that it’s a possibility he has considered before.
When asked about the subject, Tony Khan described the potential for a roster split as an intriguing idea that he’d be open to exploring in the future. However, he emphasized that it’s still too early to make any commitments.
Interestingly, AEW Rampage was not included in the new TV deal, but Tony Khan has been negotiating another opportunity with FOX. The Shockwave television show is reportedly in the works for FOX, and they just announced a multi-year deal with FOX Mexico.
