Randy Orton Turns Interviewer for Sexyy Red After 10/8 WWE NXT Appearance

Randy Orton is a name synonymous with greatness in the world of professional wrestling and he had a solid out during this week’s episode of NXT. Following the conclusion of the show, he ended up interviewing Sexyy Red for good measure.

The Apex Predator appeared on the October 8 episode of WWE NXT and defeated Je’Von Evans in the main event, in what turned out to be a very solid match that fans enjoyed.

In an NXT Exclusive, St. Louis native Sexyy Red, who also made an appearance on NXT this week, was greeted by Randy Orton, who gave her a hug and asked about her experience on the show. She mentioned feeling great being back in her hometown with family.

Sexyy Red called Orton an “O.G.,” but he responded by saying she’s the real O.G. He then took the microphone and turned the tables, asking her how she felt performing in front of the crowd. She admitted that the intimate setting made her more nervous because she could see everyone’s faces up close.

Orton shared that he still gets nervous too, explaining that true performers use their nerves to fuel their performance. He praised Sexyy Red for doing a great job and then asked if she had a message for her fans. She expressed her love for them and thanked everyone for supporting her and Randy. Orton agreed, calling them both St. Louis O.G.’s.

Sexyy Red: ”Hi Randy. What’s up, O.G.? It’s the O.G.”

Randy Orton: ”I’m the O.G.? I feel like you’re the O.G. [Gets handed the microphone] I can do the interview. This could get interesting. So, Sexyy Red, tell us how you’re feeling today.”

Sexyy Red: ”I’m feeling good. We back in our hometown, we got our families with us. How’re you feeling?”

Randy Orton: ”I’m feeling good. How’d it feel out there in front of [the crowd]? You like that intimate feel, or do you like a bigger venue?”

Sexyy Red: ”I like the intimate feel, but it makes me more nervous because everybody, you can really see their faces.”’

Orton then noted that he still gets nervous, and she said she was nervous too. He said that a true performer always gets nervous, but they learn how to turn their nerves into fuel for their performance. He said that Sexyy Red was out there killing it. Orton went on to ask Red for a message to the fans.

Randy Orton: ”Listen, Sexyy, before I let you go, is there anything you’d like to say to your fans here in St. Louis?”

Sexyy Red: ”I want to say I love y’all, thank you for supporting us, me and Randy.”

Randy Orton: ”That’s right, two St. Louis O.G.’s right here.’

Fans certainly enjoyed seeing Randy Orton interview Sexyy Red following this week’s episode of NXT, as the October 8th edition proved to be another memorable show in the CW Network era. Therefore, we’ll have to see when both of the will return to NXT television again.
