CM Punk has been quite active for the past week or so. After battling Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood, he made an appearance on RAW this week. It appears he didn’t stop there, as reports suggest he was also backstage at NXT this week.

If you need a refresher, CM Punk opened the October 7th episode of RAW and had a lot of things to say to the fans in attendance. Punk expressed his gratitude to his fans, coworkers, and critics for their support, noting that their negativity motivated him to succeed. He announced that he was going home to be with his wife, joked about needing to buy flowers, and thanked the fans, mentioning he wasn’t sure when he would return.

The October 8th episode of NXT took place in the Factory in Chesterfield, Missouri and it was brimming with talent from start to finish. Considering the fact that Stephanie Vaquer made her debut during the show, it was clear the company had a clear vision in mind for the future of the brand. The future of NXT is certainly something that CM Punk is invested in as well.

PWInsider reports that CM Punk was backstage at NXT in Missouri. He traveled with the NXT talents by bus to and from the show and provided advice to the wrestlers during the taping.

We have also reported that CM Punk is not expected to appear for the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event on November 2nd, likely due to his stance on WWE’s deal with Saudi Arabia. Nonetheless, there is no doubt that those in NXT were happy to see the Second City Saint impart his knowledge one way or the other. Therefore, we’ll have to see if Punk will end up taking over NXT as the Head of Creative.
