The October 8th edition of WWE NXT promises to be action-packed, dealing with the fallout from last week’s events and laying the groundwork for upcoming storylines as we continue the era of NXT on the CW Network.

NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Nathan Frazer & Axiom (c) vs. A-Town Down Under

Nathan Frazer and Axiom will defend their WWE NXT Tag Team titles against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, collectively known as A-Town Down Under. With Frazer and Axiom continuing to be strong tag team champions over the past few months, fans certainly can’t wait to see who will come out on top in the match.

NXT North American Championship Match: Oba Femi (C) vs. Tony D’Angelo

Oba Femi will put his NXT North American Championship on the line in a singles match against Tony D’Angelo. This match is expected to be high-stakes, with D’Angelo potentially employing some underhanded tactics with the Family’s assistance. After all, D’Angelo and Femi have history together, so fans wonder who will ultimately win the match.

Six-Women Tag Team Match: Kelani Jordan, Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill vs. Fatal Influence

During the CW Premiere’s first week, Jordan received support from the reigning Women’s Tag Team Champions, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. With the combined strength of Belair, Cargill, and Jordan, they form a formidable team that could finally put an end to the troubles caused by Fatal Influence.

Je’Von Evans vs. Randy Orton

Randy Orton will be in action this week on NXT against Je’Von Evans, the youngest competitor on the roster. While Evans is expected to put up a tough fight, there is no doubt that The Apex Predator will have an answer to Evans’ high-flying offense. Therefore, fans are definitely looking forward to the match.

Trick Williams Will Address the Fans

On the October 1st WWE NXT episode, Ethan Page defended his NXT Championship against Trick Williams, with CM Punk as the special referee. When all was said and done, Trick Williams ended up winning the match to become the new NXT Champion. He is now set to address the NXT universe for the first time since his huge title win.
