The October 4 episode of WWE SmackDown delivered an exciting show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The main event featured a brutal match that showcased intense action, and it seems that Roman Reigns had a significant impact on the match’s outcome.
The WWE Tag Team Championships were on the line in a challenging Triple Threat Ladder Match. The contest featured The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa defending their titles against #DIY, represented by Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, as well as The Street Profits, consisting of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins.
The match was intense, incorporating various weapons and numerous high-risk maneuvers and it was more physical than fans could have expected. In the end, The Bloodline emerged victorious, successfully retaining their titles, in a move that was not necessarily shocking to anyone.
According to Ibou of WrestlePurists, Roman Reigns possesses significant influence within WWE, allowing him to have a say in the booking of other wrestlers on SmackDown. Ibou noted that when he asked about who would win the tag team ladder match featuring The Bloodline, The Street Profits, and DIY, he was informed that the decision ultimately depended on Roman Reigns.
”Roman has supreme power, his power is so strong, he gets to book other people on SmackDown. This is a total shoot, I asked two weeks ago, or one week ago, who’s winning the tag team ladder match between The Bloodline, The Street Profits and DIY? The person I spoke to said, ”That’s up to Roman.” So, who won? Exactly.”
As for Roman Reigns himself, he and Cody Rhodes successfully defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event. However, The Rock appeared at the end of the show and stared intensely towards Rhodes and Roman, making it clear he would feud with both of them. Regardless, we’ll have to see what WWE has planned for the Original Tribal Chief on SmackDown this week.
