WWE NXT kicked off with a bang as Intercontinental Champion Jey Uso made a surprise appearance, breaking up the tension between Trick Williams and Wes Lee.

Trick, who was met with an enthusiastic reception from the crowd, opened the show to celebrate his second reign as NXT Champion. But the celebration didn’t last long, as potential challenger Wes Lee quickly interrupted to set his sights on the title.

Before Lee could fully issue his challenge, Jey Uso stormed the ring, fresh off a victory on Raw where he retained his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Xavier Woods—only to be attacked by Bron Breakker immediately afterward. Uso, making a grand entrance, didn’t say much, but his presence added a layer of excitement, as the crowd erupted into dueling chants of “Whoop that Trick” and “Yeet.”

The segment ended with Trick Williams and Jey Uso sharing the ring, teasing a potential alliance or rivalry, as NXT fans look forward to what’s next. Meanwhile, NXT North American Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan joined forces with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill to take on Fatal Influence in a highly anticipated matchup.
