The October 7 Monday Night RAW was truly a memorable show from start to finish as it was the first episode of RAW as a two-hour show in several years. The show featured GUNTHER defending his World Title against Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes appeared in front of GUNTHER to close the show.

Sami Zayn has been going after The Ring General for weeks, but GUNTHER tried his best not to grant that match. In the end, The Underdog From the Underground received his title match in Saint Louis.

In a thrilling match, Sami Zayn faced off against Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. In the end, The Ring General secured the win by applying a Sleeper Hold on Zayn, rendering him unconscious and allowing Gunther to retain his title.

In the final moments of RAW, Cody Rhodes made his entrance and confronted Gunther on the ramp. The two exchanged intense stares as the show came to a close. After the show went off the air, Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER held both of their titles up in the air to assert their positions as the top stars of WWE, before GUNTHER went to the back and Cody Rhodes posed for the fans in attendance.
