WWE Bad Blood 2024 kicked off with a gripping Hell in a Cell match, where CM Punk triumphed over Drew McIntyre in a bloody and brutal contest. After his victory, Punk addressed the audience on the following episode of Monday Night RAW, revealing that he would be taking a break from the show. In light of his announcement, his status for Crown Jewel has been revealed.
CM Punk opened the October 7th episode of RAW but didn’t make it to the ring. Holding a microphone, he expressed his happiness to be in Saint Louis, despite being in a lot of pain. He admitted that even smiling hurt and shared that his recent Hell in a Cell match left him with many unanswered questions.
Punk thanked his fans, coworkers, and critics for their support, saying their negativity pushed him to succeed. He announced he was going home to be with his wife, joked about needing to buy flowers, and expressed gratitude to the fans, mentioning he wasn’t sure when he would be back.
The 2024 WWE Crown Jewel is scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and fans now wonder if Punk will be there for the show. According to Fightful Select, CM Punk is not expected to appear at the upcoming Saudi Arabia show, which would explain his absence.
CM Punk has always been clear about his stance when it comes to WWE’s partnership with Saudi Arabia, so it is no surprise that he will not be taking part in the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event. It remains to be seen what WWE will have planned for Punk, as it is likely he will feud with Seth Rollins upon his return.
